Don’t order . Nine days and I’m still waiting. Instead of delivering they are asking to confirm address give a telephone number. Anything but deliver. Why would I order and give a wrong address? Anything but deliver, wish I had never ordered. Sick of them.

The laths went mouldy after a few months. I asked the company for help and they advised washing and sanding, which I tried but to no avail. After some to and fro, they did offer eventually to take them away to clean (it would take a few weeks) but were really quite rude, denying any responsibility and implying it was somehow my fault. Why wouldn’t the warranty cover mould on laths? The laths from this company come untreated. Might make sense to treat them yourself first so this doesn’t happen to you too.

Order placed on 27 November and full payment taken immediately which is fine and standard practice. Then things take an awkward turn; After not hearing anything for more than a week I submitted an online query on their website requesting an update. Thankfully I got a response asking me to confirm the delivery address because they have dispatched the order so it is surprising that I have not received the items. I replied to this email and requested they confirm the courier company and if possible the tracking number. Then no response again from Pulley Maid for 5 days. Since there is no phone number to contact them, I submitted another online enquiry asking for an update on when to expect my order (even providing the information from the previous email exchange). Guess what, they sent me the same email reply asking me to confirm the delivery address is correct again and then they will try to contact the delivery company! The ordered items still showing in stock and they have taken full payment so why are Pulley Maid unable to confirm the courier company or provide a tracking number? Maybe I am in a parallel universe dealing with a completely different Pulley Maid because right now I am not sure when, or if, I will ever receive my order - perhaps when the pigeons are back from their winter strike or the reindeer are no longer at the north pole....?!

Still haven't got the answer to how to correctly install this item because of the difficulty of the room layout - a question that I asked before even buying the product. Have emailed several times and asked for someone to call but no one will ever pick up the phone, they just continuously email and don't seem to want to understand the problem. Considering sending the product back because as it is is useless.

I ordered and paid for my pulleymaid on Sunday 17th April, I have still not received it (3to 5 days delivery quoted) but despite repeated emails and your website promises to respond no one gets in touch it is also impossible to track the order despite what it says on website. I will now have to consider what further action I can take. I wish I had bought elsewhere.

beautiful product; however, their customer service is not great - there are loads of people to speak to you when you want to place an order; however, once the order is placed, there is NO ONE to speak to you to find out about delivery...they push you all over the place and advise that it's not their job. they give you an email address, which they say they respond to quickly, but in fact they never do. there is no tracking on the delivery and the delivery timing they give you is questionable. would question buying from them again.

I am not happy with this pully maid there are no slats slaiths with it. It Dose not say this this in the description. Very unhappy customer

Haven’t installed the pulley maid yet (it’s for a new extension) but wanted it to ‘measure’ for its exact location (to install dwangs to support it) but we had to make direct contact before purchasing and found the support extremely helpful. Package arrived timeously and well packaged. Looking forward to having it in action!

We recently bought a Modern Ceiling Clothes Airer with 1.2m Long Wooden Laths and an Extra Double Pulley. Installation was a doddle. We use it constantly and visitors compliment us on it on an ongoing basis. How did we ever cope without it! The actual product is first class. The only thing that could be improved is their customer service. In this digital day and age I think they should have some system to let the customer know when an order is dispatched and provide a tracking number.

Good delivery All parts individually sturdy and of good quality. Did have to tie slats to frame to make the unit function as one otherwise slats constantly worked their way loose.

On opening the box I found some of the paint was chipped on the pulleys even though the box wasn’t damaged so can only assume it was sent for source like that, and personally I think it was abit expensive for a few cast iron parts and 5 lats of wood. However it is fully functional and is used daily no problems.

Having the Caledonian pulleymaid, is something I always wanted from being a child and my grandmother having one. It always fascinated me, and I thought how fabulous it was. Now we have our own home and this was on my to have list. I absolutely love this in my home. Thanks to your team. Clare.

It works a treat for drying spin dried clothes or airing steam iron clothes, I hang things on hangers like shirts but flat things I drape over the bars. It is so easy to use and gets rid of the clutter of clothes horses etc.

Our original pulley clothes airer was as old as our house, built in 1935. When we needed a new one we went to Pulleymaid - perfect! It has all the traditional style, looks even better and works just as well.
