“A really nice-looking piece for the utility! A little fiddly for us to install, but only because we have a very quirky space and we had to trim the wooden poles a tad. Other than that, it works really well and we're super happy.”

“Not the best experience and still not resolved so really think carefully before ordering. I Ordered on 1st January. After much chasing and claims that the order had been dispatched, order arrived here on the 25th of January 2024 only to be incomplete and missing parts. Have emailed the company now and awaiting their reply but I’ve not no faith in them and won’t be recommending the company to anyone. Very poor experience.”

“Order placed on 27 November and full payment taken immediately which is fine and standard practice. Then things take an awkward turn; After not hearing anything for more than a week I submitted an online query on their website requesting an update. Thankfully I got a response asking me to confirm the delivery address because they have dispatched the order so it is surprising that I have not received the items. I replied to this email and requested they confirm the courier company and if possible the tracking number. Then no response again from Pulley Maid for 5 days. Since there is no phone number to contact them, I submitted another online enquiry asking for an update on when to expect my order (even providing the information from the previous email exchange). Guess what, they sent me the same email reply asking me to confirm the delivery address is correct again and then they will try to contact the delivery company! The ordered items still showing in stock and they have taken full payment so why are Pulley Maid unable to confirm the courier company or provide a tracking number? Maybe I am in a parallel universe dealing with a completely different Pulley Maid because right now I am not sure when, or if, I will ever receive my order - perhaps when the pigeons are back from their winter strike or the reindeer are no longer at the north pole....?!”

“Love my pulleymaid. Had in my old house and when I moved knew I had to make room for one. So simple to use and save needed floor space from airers. Easy to install, just need to find the joists!”

“I have recently purchased a Pulleymaid 'Caledonian' clothes airer, and am very pleased with it. The price I found to be competitive with other similar companies, and the airer arrived in good time, and well packaged. It was easy to assemble, and put up ( we did have a bit of a head start on locating the beams as it was replacing one a previous owner of the house had installed ) . We have a small utility room with a boiler and numerous hot water pipes running through it, so I am sure it will be a godsend when the weather turns cold and wet, and washing won't dry outside. An environmentally friendly and cheaper alternative to the tumble dryer.”

“We recently bought a Modern Ceiling Clothes Airer with 1.2m Long Wooden Laths and an Extra Double Pulley. Installation was a doddle. We use it constantly and visitors compliment us on it on an ongoing basis. How did we ever cope without it! The actual product is first class. The only thing that could be improved is their customer service. In this digital day and age I think they should have some system to let the customer know when an order is dispatched and provide a tracking number.”

“We bought the Pulleymaid for our new Utility room which had 3 cloths horses. This has been a godsend and cleared the floor. Holds loads of clothes and as it’s up high the clothes dry really quickly and less ironing as the clothes hang straighter.”

“I was looking for a medium size pulley for my utility and I came across Pulleymaid. They offered exactly what I wanted so I purchased online with ease . Notification came promptly to when it would be delivered which all went very smoothly . My joiner fitted the wheels to the ceiling as per the instructions . I now have a superb frying facility at home and no awkward cloths horses taking up room . 10/10 for everything . Thank you”

“Bought a white deluxe clothes airer with 1.8m long wooden laths. Delivery was very straightforward and the airer was sensibly packaged and well made. The laths look good and are beautifully smooth. Unable to comment on installation yet - new ceiling with insulation behind it in our utility room means we need to tweak how we fit it.”
