“My pulleymaid was ordered, and a good discount offered. The package arrived in good time, and will be installed soon,..........all looks good. The pulleymaid has a bit of style to it compared to other brands offered.”

“Good solid product and excellent customer service. Installation video is good but on my first attempt my drilling was at a slight angle and I snapped the screw on it's way in. Ordered a replacement and got it right second time! So a tip is to be very exact with the line of drilling to get a fit flush to your ceiling.”

“Bought a white deluxe clothes airer with 1.8m long wooden laths. Delivery was very straightforward and the airer was sensibly packaged and well made. The laths look good and are beautifully smooth. Unable to comment on installation yet - new ceiling with insulation behind it in our utility room means we need to tweak how we fit it.”

“Love our pulleymaid and can't remember how we coped before it! Really easy to choose the right length for our space, installation was straightforward once I'd watched the youtube video lots of times and now have heaps of drying room and everyone who visits comments on how attractive the pulleymaid in our kitchen is. Great value for money and looks great. Only area of feedback would be that the wood was slightly lower quality than we expected, a few splinters near the ends that just needed smoothing off, but that hasn't affected the look or use and is easily sorted.”

“I bought the ceiling pulleymaid which looks great. Luckily I had someone else put it up for me so I didn't have to worry about any instructions. It is definitely a good, quality product made of sturdy materials. The only point I would make is that the slats move easily within the metal ends. It would be good if there was some kind of rubber seals that could be used to keep the slats in place once installed.”

“Arrived quickly, well made and rods were cut exactly to length. We have struggled to keep the wooden rods from slipping out of the cast iron holders, but I’m sure that’s user error rather than a design fault.”

“Took a bit longer to arrive than had hoped but pleased with it. It is just as I expected it to be and does the job perfectly. Good quality too. My only slight issue is that there is nothing to keep the slats from slipping out so might have to do a bit of DIY there, otherwise a good product.”

“The hardware was faultless although there isn't much that can go wrong with one of these contraptions! Basically, the pulleymaid is exactly as described. The removal of one star was due to the poor installation instructions. I used a competitors YouTube video to work it out in the end!”

“Nice quality clothes airer with strong pulleys and cord. It holds a huge amount of laundry and is so much more space efficient than a floor-standing airer. It was dispatched quickly and exactly as described. The only reason for 4 rather than 5 stars is that the slats are not a snug fit in the holes in the metal arms so they tend to slide about which is quite irritating. We've secured them with cable ties which works but is not the most glamorous solution.”

“Prompt delivery etc, all very good. A friend has made some tiny wedges to hold the laths in place as they clonked into the wall where I have a heating computer. I had to get used to balancing the clothes I hand to avoid the pulley maid swinging around. But overall it’s a great item to have, situated in my warm utility room by the washing machine. Happy with it!”

“The concertina airer is a lovely, solid product and easy to fold away, but also to move when extended. It would have five stars if it had slightly more room on it - either an extra level or double rows. It’s not a cheap option, but definitely value for money. Customer service was excellent and delivery was easier than expected.”
