“I ordered the pulleymaid and then tariffs hit and I could not find where it was in transit. The UPS tracking number wasn’t showing anything. I reached out for help and was told to call UPS. I was also given a lecture about tariffs and I should have known. So, I guess I deserved to have my package unaccounted for because I’m American. At this point, I don’t even want the thing and they said they would refuse the delivery, but, of course, that didn’t happen and this beat up package finally arrived on my doorstep 8 weeks later. Customer Service was singularly unhelpful and condescending. You can take your pulleymaid and your warm regards and stick it where the sun don’t shine.”

“The pulley arrived on time. Because I was restricted as to the exact position of the pulley, my partner had to go to the loft to put a couple of dwangs between the joists to ensure the weight would be supported. Once that was done, it was easy to install. The instructions were clear and easy to follow. I find using a pulley a great way to dry clothes. They are high up out of the way, not taking up floor space like a normal drier and they dry quicker too. Although you can get cheaper ones elsewhere, the quality of this product is superb: the laths are really smooth and straight, the rope is good quality and the black cast iron ends are not only substantial, but look great too! 😊”

“The pulley is very sturdy and holds a good amount of clothes, especially if you use the hooks to hang some of your items which creates more hanging space - I tend to put T-shirts, shirts or any lighter items on a coat hanger & hang from the hooks.”

“The order was delayed repeatedly, with no updates unless I chased, and when I did the responses were rude and dismissive. After weeks of waiting, only half the product arrived. The rest was stuck at customs and returned to sender – the timber was clearly not treated to enter Australia. My two options were to either try again (knowing it would fail) or accept a small refund and DIY the product myself. After paying a premium price, two months later, I am left with half an airer and a lot of wasted time. The communication was dismissive and unhelpful, the service was appalling, and the experience has been nothing short of infuriating. Just disappointing and unacceptable – avoid this company altogether.”

“My Pulleymaid was delivered the day after ordering and well packed so no damage in transit. The pulleys are very sturdy and screw into the beams well. I previously had a clothesline wire across the ceiling so this is so much better because I now have 4 rails and can raise and lower as required. Looks good in the utility room.”
