“This is the second one I have bought - due to a house move. I used the first one for 11 years at my previous house, and left it for the new owners. I am really, really pleased with this new one. I have a 6kg machine and the laundry maid takes a whole load. The design is nicer and more modern than it was when I bought the first one. It is well made and easy to construct and fit. Cleat could be larger, but it is excellent apart from that. Would definitely recommend it.”

“Exactly what it says. Very helpful and efficient company, with prompt shipping. You need to plan where it will go and almost make up a template to see how much space is required when lowered - more than I anticipated, but solved by cutting 15cm off the lathes. Has a slight tendency for the lathes to slide, but that is inherent in the antique design.”

“I was very pleased to receive the Pulleymaid which now hangs in part of my kitchen. Not only does it serve its purpose in drying the clothes but it also looks modern and attractive while not in use. It does not cost as much as long sessions of tumble drying and therefore helps me save money in wet weather.”

“I bought this 6 staff clothes airer, to replace a 4 staff one I'd bought some years earlier. The cast-iron Pulleymaid airers have the substantial feeling of quality about them. With a 6 staff airer, I can dry a full washing machine load, even of bedding, with enough space for them to dry efficiently. Whether with 4 or 6 staffs, they are the best way of drying clothes, without having to live with ones washing in the middle of ones house or garden, as it only requires some ceiling height, such as a stairwell. I don't use anything else”
