“Delivery was not great, I felt sorry for the poor driver who was on his own and only had me to help him unload the delivery. We had to use a manual pallet truck because the usual unloading gear was broken. We then had to push and pull two tonne bags of cobbles (not sure if that was safe). Product itself was excellent”

Hi. Thanks for leaving a review. I'm sorry to hear you experienced some issues with your delivery. We always request the apropriate vehicle and equipment be used for the delivery location. Unfortunately in this case, it seems that even though we requested an electric pump truck be used, it was not working. We do ask that customers call us if there are any issues at the time of delivery so that we can immediately liaise with the pallet company to find a solution. I am however pleased to hear the product, once delivered, did meet your expectation.

Thank you for your review Keira. I'm sorry to hear that you thought the delivery service was shocking. I looked at the pallet companies system and also your order on our system but can't see that there were any issues that we were made aware of. I also notice the pallet company delivered in the morning and took into account your instructions. Perhaps you could let us know the issues you experieced and we can pass the feedback on to the pallet company. With regard to the colours not being as advertised, I can only advise that any images online will vary, due to different lighting and browsers. If customers contact us prior to ordering we are always happy to send out samples. The Scottish Cobbles are our best selling product and we generally receive excellent feedback regarding the quality and colours. I'm sorry to hear that you were disappointed on this occasion.

“The service was excellent. The stones are probably great but percentt wise they are really on the bigger side. Better mix would have helped.”

“Proturf were very helpful up to the point of sale, but when I called them asking for advice about their turf AFTER the sale they were not interested at all. Their after-sales is non-existent as far as I am concerned. The turf was laid by a professional company but is patchy and brown in too many places. I would NOT by from them again.”

“After the Larry driver refused to unload in a perfectly normal road with space etc I was very angry. After I rang on Saturday to only get an answer machine saying everyone was busy (when actually you were not open) I was ready to demand my money back. But I was called first thing Monday by a very understanding lady who got the delivery to me the next day with no problem at all and the stones are fab. Saved by great customer service. Thank you”

“Happy with sand but not with delivery as the bulk bag of sand was left in the very centre of my drive way so all weekend we couldn't get our 3 vehicles on our drive as this bag was in the way. We are currently having our garden patio done and lots of slabs and gravel was already in the drive but to the side, so we could park our cars on the drive. Why your delivery driver couldn't put it next to this, I don't know.”

Hi Tracey, Thanks for the feedback glad you like your play sand. I have spoken to our delivery company and hopefully in the future all delivery drivers will be thoughtful in leaving deliveries. Kind regards James.
