Bulk bag of cobbles ordered that should have been sized 30-100mm each cobble. Included was quite a lot of "gravel" chippings and dust - I'd estimate 10% of the weight of the bag was unusable. Hence the one star. This was my second bulk bag purchase - the first was as described. At £499 plus delivery this isn't acceptable.

Hi Suzannah. Many thanks for your review. I'm so sorry to learn you experienced a quality issue with the product received. Looking at the Kelkay Black Sea Cobbles we have in the yard, I've not seen anything like this and can only assume that the image provided was of some contamination at the bottom of the bag? I checked the order but didn't see any notes to say you had contacted us regarding the issue. We value our customers and are always eager to resolve any quality issues, on the rare occasions when they arise.

Hello Naveen. Thank you for your review. I checked your order and found no issues with the delivery. The order was made on the standard economy delivery service and arrived two days later, as per the date specified in confirmation email. I'm not sure if perhaps this relates to a delivery from another company?

Order was fine except the delivery guy dropped the ton bag of stones on to a manhole and smashed it. They Alhumdullilah ent taken any responsibility or accepted the fault hoping that I’ll just forget Won’t be using this company again.

Hi Asum. I'm sorry to hear about the issue you experienced with a broken manhole cover. The delivery company we use are officially a curbside delivery service. The drivers use manual pallet trucks and will try to accommodate customers requests to place pallets as near to the property as possible. We have forwarded your picture and complaint to the delivery company. Apologies again for any inconvenience caused and I'm glad to hear that the product itself was satisfactory.

Awful delivery driver, was of no help on the delivery day what so ever. My partner along with neighbours tried to offer to help but he was very rude and left the pallet 10+ meters away from our front gate, which left my partners and neighbour using buckets to bring the stones in to our front garden.

Absolutely terrible experience. We had a 90m2 garden to turf and need the turf early. We upgraded our delivery to a pre-12am slot to ensure ample time given other commitments that day/weekend. We received notification at about 3pm the day BEFORE delivery that the turf was already cut and loaded for delivery the next day, so we were confident it would arrive in time. Th next day comes and by 10am the tracking is still showing it to be in the hub, and not out for delivery. Cue plenty of emails to proturf who just kept saying it was 15 mins away, when we could blatantly see it wasn't. Then we were told there was a problem and it would be here at 1:15pm; this again was a lie, it still wasn't out for delivery. By this time I had enough of the lies, so we cancelled the order and low and behold, within 5 mins the order was dispatched. But it get's worse.... when the turf did eventually arrive at 3pm; this is how it turned up, all lose and broken and many of them dry as a bone! They didn't even palette it correctly and they were flying all over the place. Hello, we are sorry about the delay in your delivery our pallet delivery network failed on this occasion and we have discussed this with them and had reassurances that this shouldnt happen again. Glad the turf is looking good and you are pleased with our outcome.
