“Bought these drills for drilling mild steel and cast iron and they have worked perfectly. These would also be ideal for softer material, with the rake angle adjusted, and at this price it means that you can afford to have a full set of drills purely for brass etc. I haven’t used these on carbon or stainless steel as they aren’t made for that and I have other drills that’s are. Highly recommended for the price so long as you use them on the material that are intended for.”

“Really pleased with the service, the choice of drill bits etc. I used them to drill very hard steel and they worked well. Will certainly order from them again. Do be aware the price is for a set of 5 bits, so they are very good value for money.”

“Ordered some 6mm auger bits issue with DPD next day but rectified by UKdrills very quickly. Used to drill through some seasoned hard oak 150mm sections worked a treat and still seem sharp.”

“The HSS twist drills seem ok, but I’ve only used them on wood so far. But that was all I wanted these particular sizes for. 6.1mm and 8.1 mm clearance for wood dowels.”
