“From the welcome upon arriving to the beautifully appointed apartment, our stay was absolutely wonderful. The"Coal Drop" area was convenient to everywhere we wanted to go as the Kings Cross station was just steps away. The many restaurants, shops and supermarket also made for a wonderful experience. Any issues within the apartment were immediately resolved quickly and professionally. The Concierge was always friendly and willing to help with any questions about the area. We were truly sad to leave.”

“The team at Portland Brown were very kind and responsive. My taxi was late from the airport and they patiently waited for my arrival with a 1.5 delay. There were a few things in the flat that needed fixing and the team was very quick in getting everything sorted - including getting back to me in a few hours and keeping my updated on the status.”

“I stayed in a very nice, clean and well equipped apartment in Marylbone, the communication was great -everything from check in to check out went smooth and they even provided an airbed for my son who was visiting during weekend. I can highly recommend Portland Brown - the quality of the apartment was great and service was excellent.”

“Outstanding, responsive and proactive customer service. Flat had everything one needed including hair dryers in every bedroom, a safe, plenty of hangers, fully functioning kitchen and plenty of space. Responded quickly when WIFI went out as well as providing extra fans and cooling system for when it was hot.”

“Communication excellent. Welcome reception very good. Cleanliness excellent. Ventilation - needs improvement. A strip of tape or paint on the stairs to illuminate from bedrooms to main area. Simple written instructions of how to use dishwasher & washer/dryer. Non- skid on bathtub & shower. Overall a delightful experience. Will book for 2026. Question: does the larger suite on floor above have a larger bed? We would prefer a “king-size” bed.”

“Check in was not nice. The person that checked us in kept on asking us when we would get there. He wasn’t very nice seemed inpatient so we better off just getting in through a key pad with no human interactions. Confusion around cleaning, when we book they said no cleaning but the cleaning crew came half way through the stay whjch was nice but a surprise. The oven smelled like curry. Bathroom had cracked floors. For the price, it is great location but boarder line if worth it.”

If you choose to stay with us again, this is something we’d be happy to organise with you. As your stay was 7 days, a mid-stay housekeeping visit was included. While we’re pleased to hear that this was well received, I appreciate that this could have been surprising without clear communication. I’m also sorry about the smell of the oven and condition of the bathroom floor, we’ve passed these points to our maintenance team to investigate and resolve.
