“Very professional and super friendly!! They are always so happy to help even with the most datfest of questions and trust me I asked some really silly questions as this was the first time of travelling alone without my husband. There is always a point of contact which is very reassuring and they also make sure you have everything in place from injections needed to the correct paperwork. I highly recommend them.”

“I had a great experience with the Kruger Conservation and Leopard Monitoring Project. The rangers provided great information. I would recommend being a Pod Volunteer and look forward to possibly volunteering again.”

“I found Pod incredibly useful setting up my voluntary work with STEP's Teaching and Community Project in India. The project itself was a beautiful blend of cultural engagement with inpependent teaching work which was equally challenging and rewarding. I can't quite put into words the experience of working each day with the children, becoming their friend as well as their teacher. It was humbling and hilarious. I loved every moment.”

“They regularly checked in with me through the whole process, making sure that I had done what I needed to do in terms of documents etc. They sent me plenty of information before the trip so I knew what to expect, and the volunteer experience itself was well organised and so incredible!”

“They were so helpful. I felt quite anxious leading up to my trip but they helped me through it and gave me the advice I needed. They also made me think positively about it and got me feeling excited about it again. I felt like they were with me each step of the way.”

“Volunteering with pod in Thailand over the summer was a life changing experience and one I will never forget. My first time travelling alone was made so easy thanks to pod staff and support from other volunteers, the trip has opened my eyes and I can’t wait to do it all again. I am so greatfull to Erin and Sarah for helping make the experience fun to the point where it didn’t even feel like work, I have truly fallen in love with Thailand and would highly recommend pod to anyone considering travelling/volunteering.”

“As I had my birthday on the trip they bought me a cake and sang happy birthday at lunch. The whole group signed a notebook for me to write about my trip in. Seeing the elephants everyday was also a happy part for me as I knew I was helping them to become more healthy and more like their original self.”

All correspondence with POD has been prompt, helpful and enthusiastic. The projects I have been involved with - most recently English teaching in Madagascar, have been a privilege to have worked on.”
