I am sorry, John. I can see they tried on the 16th and 17th to deliver, and then I arranged for this to go to the local shop near you, and this was refused by the shop, so this is now on its way back for a full refund.

I am sorry that the parcel has not got to you. I can see by the tracking that they tried twice, the first time was a day after the order and the second a day later, and you then requested a collection, but this has not been collected, so the item is now on its way back, where you will be refunded in full.

that you feel that way. We clearly show the postage in the basket screen before you go to the checkout, and again in the checkout screen. As you have chosen the express service and our carrier's class, this is a remote area, so the postage for this is high. we do not make money on the postage and charge what we get charged.
If you return the items, we will refund you for the whole order, including the original postage. as per our returns process.

I have looked into this order. You did pay £10 for an AM service. DPD tried to deliver, but you were not home, so they dropped off the card to have it dropped off at the post office. It was then re-delivered to the post office but you did not collect it for 3 days.
I am sorry you could not get through on our phone lines. When busy, we have to prioritize getting orders out.

I am sorry that the carriers damaged the tank; this was refunded to the payment source on the 12th at 3.01 pm while you were on the phone. I have also checked on the payment portal, and this shows as refunded to the payment source. Please contact the card or bank you paid with to check with them, as i can not go into more detail on an open review but I will send you the details via email.

I am sorry for the hassle this has caused you. I have checked the tracking and can see the delivery driver missed you twice, so this was taken to Heol Llanishen Fach post office for you to collect. I can confirm it is there from the gotag and image, it was handed over. please contact me if they say this is not there. all you need to take with you is proof of address and ID to collect this.

I am sorry, Ann. This was ordered and sent out the day before the bank holidays, so the next working day was yesterday. I see they tried to deliver it, but no one was there. They are on route to you again today.
“Bought supposedly oversize 22mm Brass Olives to use on 3/4" copper pipe with modern 22mm fitting (New Gate Valve) But found the ID of the oversize olives supplied virtually identical to the normal 22mm copper olives supplied in the fitting. Supposedly oversize olive had OD of 0.5 greater than copper/original ones.
Being brass they need a lot more force to compress. However they cannot form a seal to the pipes the ID being at least 1mm too great.
Smaller ID is needed to fit to a 3/4" pipe. but with same OD as 22mm olive. V disappointedm, now have no hot water. Now need other solution. I expected to receive olives with 19.5mm ID and OD for 22mm”

We sell a few hundred 3/4 olives that go into a 22mm compression fitting. These are for imperial copper pipe but will not fit 3/4" 20th as you need a different fitting for this type. if you need any advice, please contact me and I can sort this out for you.

I am sorry. I have looked into this, and it looks like Royal Mail has not delivered this. Normally, Royal Mail takes 2-3 days on average. Both Royal Mail and DPD have well over 99% success rates. I have now resent this order again.
I am told by Royal Mail that their tracking has issues on a small number of some devices but a fix out any day.

“Never recieved my order. Very hard to communicate with the don't take phone calls amd email replies are too slow to correct ordering errors. A small mistake on ordering was totally impossible to correct leading to my order going to the wrong address and now missing. It's a disaster. They tried to help but timing delays have caused a nightmare. Still no goods and very very slow communication takes days for replies.”
I am sorry you had trouble getting through, we had staff on holiday, and there was a banner on the website saying to message us and we would get back ASAP. I have looked at your order, the delay in you receiving your order was the wrong address on your order which you told us about after the parcel had left, we changed it for you but this added an extra day, DPD then tried at the address 3 times and advised no one was in, on the 4th time it was received, could you contact us if you have not received the order as this is dated before this review.

“PlumbinBits have been let down badly by DPD
I told them to put it in the garage and then deliver to any neighbour and two occasions they just came and went without doing either and did not deliver my package for a further three days. I had to get the parcel delivered to a local shop which is what DPD said they would do any way if I wasn't in. I am not unhappy with PlumbinBits but I will not use them again if they use DPD. I also paid for next day delivery.”
I am sorry DPD has let you down on this order, DPD normally is very good but with all delivery companies, they are only as good as their drivers, and have a 98.9 percent delivery rate. We also offer Royal Mail service but this is a 48 hour service as an alternative.
