I am sorry that the Ideal plate is not as good as the old one, we also do a stainless version that Ideal does which is much stronger than the chrome on plastic one.

“Plumbinbits used dpd to delivery my parcel which ended up taking 4 days to get to me because the driver went to the wrong address but said i wasnt home.When I contacted pluminbits to inform.them of this, they said they would contact dpd which they did. However I have only given 3 star review because they never even offered to refund the express delivery charges. That was the least they could do considering the the late delivery.”
Hi Denise, we're glad you liked the product. Unfortunately, having looked into it, your order was placed at 3:06pm which was a couple hours past our threshold for next day delivery. For next day delivery, orders need to be placed before 1pm, which is mentioned on our website and when checking out. Sorry you did not receive it the next day.

We're glad to hear you found what you were after. Sorry delivery was a little bit longer but we dispatched this the day after you ordered so after that any delay was on Royal Mail's side.
“All I wanted was 2 new soft closer units, but I had to spend out approx £50 just to get these. The rest is the complete replacement for the 2 hinges, as mine are still perfectly usable I had to pay a lot more than I wanted to in order to fix the main problem.
Perhaps you can just sell the soft closer units separately next time as they seem to go wrong after 5years or so.

sorry about the delays with DPD, 9 times out of 10 they deliver next day but local issues do sometimes arise which delay things.
Unfortunately DPD is a premium courier and do charge accordingly, we don't make any profit on delivery costs and charge our customers what we get charged to send it out.

Sorry you were disappointed
You ordered at 7pm on a Thursday night and selected DPD Next Day (M-F). Obviously, we couldn't dispatch your order Thursday after 7pm and given that it's a weekday service, dispatching it on Friday would mean it would be delivered the next working day. Unfortunately due to the bank holiday, the next working day after the order was dispatched was Tuesday 30th due to the bank holiday.
“The product was good. However, the sales staff is not aware that VAT should not be added on sales to the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man. This is a UK tax not applicable in Guernsey (NOT PART OF THE UK). The sales staff should talk to the accounts department.

“Service was brilliant. Had an issue with the packaging as the order was damaged on receipt. Was sent a second replacement which was good, but the second also had damaged parts on receipt. Luckily managed to combine the 2. Needs better packaging. As it was packaged on the top but nothing in the bottom of the box.”

“Buying the radiator was straight forward and quick. All thou it was just dumped outside the door in plain view. But communication was good.
It was only spoilt by the stupid design of the radiator. Should have be so simple and straight forward, fitted many different types of radiator before. But the brackets for fitting this on were so badly designed it's a joke! I would never buy a HYCO product again. Its a case of Good price bad product!”
