“Not the best introduction to the company. Ordered 2 tap cartridges which when delivered did not have the tap top retaining screws despite the images on the website showing the screws. See photo. Contacted customer services to enquire about the screws and they advised that the screws are not included so I needed to buy a pack of 10 for around £1.20 plus £3.60 postage. After some discussion about the website content (showing screws) they provided a code for free delivery which I correctly applied at checkout only for the full postage costs still to be applied...so the screws cost me around £4.80 on top of the cost of the tap cartridges.
Similar cartridges in Screwfix and Toolstation come with screws included so it was disappointing that plumbinbits can't do this too.
As it was the website that incorrectly showed the screws included with the cartridges I would have thought that plumbinbits could have just popped a couple of screws in the post as a gesture of good will.”
“PlumbinBits was very helpful in trying to find me some Ceramic Tap Cartridges of which I had sent photos of.
I was told by an Agent a few days later that they would not fit but I bought them anyway to try to match them with the ones I sent Photos of.
Unfortunately they didn’t so I Contacted PlumbinBits and returned them as told and with no problems I have had a full refund.
In a Nutshell this Company is well worth dealing with as there Aftersales are as equally good as there Sales.
