“I researched for months before choosing Pet Tracer. It was a good decision. Pet Tracer has identified precisely where our cat was every time we’ve needed it to. It’s fairly easy to set up (although the website isn’t always clear) the app is simple to use. I’ve never had to use the RF tracker so can’t comment on that, but the WiFi tracker has always been bang on. We almost lost our cat just before we got Pet Tracer so having that peace of mind is worth the higher cost relative to other trackers. I could do without the monthly subscription but that’s a decision for next year”

“This is a great service, essential for us with a blind escape-artist farm cat! The equipment is very good - the collar is very lightweight and does not bother her at all. The app is clear and we use it all the time to check the cat is safe. The set up process is easy and I would definitely recommend it! Thank you team!”

“Honest and accurate Review. In our opinion this item is not fit for our purpose. The stated GPS range of 1 mile is not achievable and we can only achieve 100 metres line of sight from our home before connection is lost to the collar. Our cat cannot be monitored whilst away from our garden and therefore this device is only useful for historically tracking data for his movement when he returns. The battery life achievable is a maximum of two days on the Pettracer recommended setting and not as suggested of around 4 to 5 days. The GPS positioning is not accurately shown on the map and not generally accurate as it suggests some cat movements which are not correct. Cat and collar became lost for eight days whilst having this product and walk searching by us was the only way to find the cat along with members of our village community helping to track him. This product does not reduce our stress levels whilst our cat is away from home (typically for 24 to 48hrs). Customer Services do not respond to emails (3 to-date so far over 5 days) and collar has been lost now on two occasions, even with the heavy duty strap. When the collar was lost the first time we were lucky to have our cats name and contact number attached to it, and a dog walker was kind enough to contact us. Lost again last night but now with no GPS or Radio signal whilst configured in mobile we have no data to start a search. We are tied into an expensive contract for an inadequate product. Very disappointed.”

“Prinzipiell bin ich sehr begeistert vom petracer, nun weiß ich immer wo sich meine Katze befindet und bin beruhigt. Allerdings habe ich dann doch ein paar Kritikpunkte. Die Installation ist für Laien ziemlich kompliziert, habe ewig gebraucht bis ich den Traker zum Laufen gebracht habe. Auch die Anleitung per Video ist schwierig zu verfolgen, da auf Englisch und nur mit deutschen Untertiteln. Den Peilsender habe ich noch gar nicht in Betrieb genommen, da auch hier schon wieder Schwierigkeiten aufgetreten sind und ich die Geduld verloren habe. Wäre gut, wenn da noch nach gebessert würde.”

“Ich kann den petTracer zu 100% empfehlen. Seitdem kann ich meine Katze beruhigt aus dem Haus lassen. Wenn es Probleme gibt, was auch immer, hilft der Support umgehend weiter. Die Investition lohnt sich.”

“Am Anfang funktionierte das Halsband sehr gut und es war leicht zu installieren. Danach kamen keine Signale der Katze mehr. Der Support ist bemüht nach einer Lösung zu finden. ich hoffe, dass das weiterhin so gut läuft.”

“Unsere beiden Katzen tragen nun schon seit einigen Wochen ihr petTracer-Halsband. Es funktioniert alles einwandfrei. Da wir noch sehr neugierig sind, wo sich die beiden aufhalten, schauen wir immer mal wieder auf die Karte und gleichen dann mit der Realität ab. PetTracer ist wirklich unglaublich genau und zuverlässig. Auch die Peilfunktion haben wir mal ausgetestet und es funktionierte sehr gut. Eine unserer Katzen verlor ihr Halsband 2x, als sie unter einem Zaun durchkroch und wohl hängen bliebt. Gut, dass der Sicherheitsverschluss sofort auf ging. Und perfekt, dass wir das Halsband mit Hilfe der Karte sofort fanden, ohne lange suchen zu müssen. Zur Not hätten wir auch einfach bis zur Abenddämmerung warten und dann das Blinklicht aktivieren können. Besonders begeistert bin ich über den Support. Wir haben immer sehr schnell eine ausführliche und hilfreiche Antwort erhalten. Wirklich sehr freundlich und auch zuvorkommend. Wir hängen unglaublich an unseren beiden Katzen. Und dank petTrace können wir ihnen mit absolut ruhigem Gewissen ihre Freiheit lassen.”

“Over thr years, I must have tried evrry single different type of gps cat tracker and quite undoubtedly Pet Trace is the best. Unfortunately for my cat, I can now see when she has been over to my neighbour's kitchen for a meal!”

“Ich habe mich für Pettracer entschieden, da ich diese Firma schon sehr lange begleite. Man konnte verfolgen, wie sie es entwickelt haben und das hat mich beeindruckt und letztendlich zum Kauf bewogen. Bin sehr zufrieden mit dem Pettracer! Das Halsband ist hervorragend und stört die Katze überhaupt nicht. Sie versucht es auch nicht loszuwerden. Über das App oder auch im Onlineportal kann man sehr gut sehen, wo sich die Katze befindet. Kann es nur jedem Katzenbesitzer ans Herz legen gleich das Beste am Markt zu kaufen!”

“Funktioniert sehr gut, ab und an mal ist der Kater nicht zu sehen, dann ist er wieder Strecken gelaufen die unglaublich sind. Die Kontrolle seiner Touren gibt uns ein gutes Gefühl..... das Halsband ist für ihn nicht störend.”

“Der Pet Tracer hat eine Abweichung von über 5m im Radius! Unsere Katze hat das Halsband schon mehrere mahle verloren. Das suchen im Gebüsch gestaltete sich eher anstrengend . Das Halsband ist zu Dick und Klobig Katze bleibt öfters damit Hängen !! Wir haben’s das Abonnement nickt verlängert, da wir den PetTracer eher unpraktisch finden! Eigentlich ein sehr innovatives Produck. Es ist zu hoffen das die Technik kleiner wird ! Die Ortung genauer !”

“The collar sounds good on paper, but technically not fit for purpose. Current position of the pet is not acurate at all, in case collar gets lost, good luck finding it. This collar may fit for technical seasoned users, my advice for regular persons: dont go near this product. The tip of the ice berg is the slow reply time by the customer service. In case of problems you can only communicate by E-Mail which is a big No No for such an „advanced“ technical product. Big thumb down for this company. Save your money and buy your pet some nice food.”
