“Well worth the wait... A truly authentic and educational cooking lesson with Jirapan! The experience of cooking and learning about the thai ingredients step by step and the pace was just perfect. Given COVID-19 the hygiene and distance was absolutely perfect! Highly recommend this school and will be back for more.... Many thanks : Tami & Nav 👩‍🍳 👨‍🍳”

“Attended a class this afternoon. A truly wonderful experience through and through in a beautiful home kitchen. Absolutely flawless. Jirapan was very well prepared, went above and beyond to make all necessary adjustments to make the cooking environment covid secure. She has a very amiable and pleasant manner and took the class at a pace we all felt comfortable with. In one word the food was heavenly! I leant so much in the 3 hours despite the fact that I have been cooking Thai food for a long time. It became clear to me this afternoon that no amount of further googling for information would have done. I highly recommend attending Jirapan's cooking class. Even the coffee she served was great! Thank you Jirapan.”

“Jirapan gave us a really special experience. She is so friendly and knowledgeable and helped us understand 'why' as well as 'how' we included the different ingredients when creating a truly yummy meal. Her colleague Julie was super organised and helpful as well. The small group atmosphere was fun and informal. I went away full up and with some leftovers for my sons (delicious and easy Chicken Satay) who were equally positive!”

“We had a wonderful cooking class with Jirapan last Saturday. Jirapan is a great host, very informative and all the ingredients used were of the highest quality. We loved the food we cooked and we look forward to trying to make the dishes at home. Thanks for a wonderful afternoon.”

“Outstanding cookery course provided by Jirapan and her associate at Paya Thai Cooking. We were a family group of 9 ranging in ages from 10-75 and had selected to make dim sum, yellow curry and pad thai. It was so informative, fun and hands on for every member of our party. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend the courses here!”

“Had a great afternoon learning how to prepare and cook Thai food. We made three different dishes which were varied and fun to do, as we all worked together. Jirapan explained everything so clearly and with such enthusiasm which made the whole experience so enjoyable. Met some lovely people. Would certainly book up again to learn some new recipes.”

“Great morning learning about Thai ingredients and cooking methods. Jirapan was really informative, knowledgable and patient, and the food was amazing. Lovely to be able to sit down and eat what we had cooked afterwards in the comfort of her dining room. Many thanks, would definitely recommend.”

“Really enjoyed the course, this is my first ever cookery course so didn’t know what to expect. Our host/teacher was fun and very informative about Thai ingredients and techniques very worthwhile morning spent and I would recommend it to others. 4 stars because it is my first such course so I have to leave a little leeway :-)”

“Jirapan was very knowledgeable and the five of us had a lovely afternoon learning to cook. She was very personable and the large light kitchen was a perfect space. Wound highly recommend to others. Also we felt it was reasonably priced. We sat down and ate our creations afterwards with some celebration bubbles that we brought. Thank you Jirapan x”

“Had a great time, thoroughly enjoyed the day and I will be back for more! The whole team were friendly, welcoming, and certainly very knowledgeable. The 'check/test' your skills at the beginning was good, as it made you think about the products, flavours and vegetables we were going to use. Jirapan had some great anecdotal stories that made the day go very well. She certainly knows here stuff. The people on the course were great too ,we all worked together (I attended on my own - and it didn't matter). If you enjoy this style of food - do this course / the 'team' meal at the end gave us all an opportunity to discuss the foods, flavours and congratulate ourselves on a job well done! Compliments to the chefs... I say "Do it".”

“A very enjoyable afternoon cooking some great Thai dishes and some good company. My favourite dish was the Penang chicken curry and I'll certainly be trying to make that at home very soon. Mike”
