“I went along with my son to a Paya Thai Cooking class and I thoroughly enjoyed It. It was a mine of information (cooking methods, ingredients etc...) and a lot of fun. Everything was explained very clearly, the dishes we made were delicious (and not too hot!) thanks to a wonderful chef in the most pleasant surroundings.I would go again and strongly recommend it.”

“I received the lesson with Jirapan as a Christmas present. My wife selflessly arranging for me to learn how to cook her favourite dishes from scratch. Happy in the kitchen but having never been to a class before I wasn’t sure what to expect. Jirapan welcomed me into her home along with 5 others, and talked us through the order of the day. We learned about the ingredients, prepared them (learning some new knifework along the way), cooked and then sat together and enjoyed our handiwork. I really enjoyed the experience, the food and the company. Very pleased also with the extra context that was added (how to pick good ingredients, the differences to look for on the labels, what will keep and what should be fresh, where to buy and how to adjust the flavours for different palettes). A thoroughly enjoyable day and a great new set of options to bring back to my kitchen.”

“This was given to me as a present. Jirapan provides a lovely warm welcome, to her clean, modern and well equipped kitchen. I have been to a cookery school before in Thailand. I really enjoyed the afternoon. The ingredients and menu are authentic Thai. Instruction easy for a beginner to follow. I learnt some new dishes to cook for friends, and had a great meal at the end.”

“Jirapan is an absolute joy! She not only ignites a passion for Thai food, but for cooking in general and how to bring the very best taste sensations out of a host of fresh ingredients. I definitely recommend to anyone and hope to go back for another of her courses sometime soon!”

“Excellent morning, could not fault a thing. Professional but also very friendly. Spotlessly clean and beautiful kitchen. Chicken satay, Massaman curry and beef stir fry all had great depth of flavour. Will definitely return. X”

“Thoroughly enjoyed my cookery lesson at Paya Thai Cooking. Friendly helpful teacher who provided us with useful tips along the way. Would highly recommend taking a lesson. Must not forget the helper who provided us with refreshments and also tidied and washed up for us. Thank you.”
