“A great experience! Jirapan was a great hostess and good at taking all of us through the ingredients and cooking techniques necessary to prepare the meal that we then enjoyed at the end. Lots of useful information about sourcing ingredients, knife techniques and presentation. Comfortable, relaxed surroundings, all questions answered. It was fun to do and there was lots of humour .”

“This is the third time my partner and I have been. That in itself speaks volumes. We cannot rate Jirpan highly enough. She makes Thai cooking as easy as boiling water. She is calm, shows you great tips and tricks and the food.............the food is just delicious. Can't wait for Jirpan to add more cooking courses because we will absolutely be back for more. You cannot help but have a great time, you feel you have achieved something and leave with a full belly. Amazing !!”

“One of the best Christmas presents I've ever had. My husband and I had a really enjoyable afternoon learning three Thai dishes. Jirapan was a fantastic teacher. She gave us interesting tips throughout the course, including alternative ingredients that could be used.”

“I really loved this course as it was really fun and insightful. We learnt not only which ingredients to use, but how we should chop / cook them the right way. I found this incredibly handy. The meals we made were delicious and easy. The environment was very relaxed and our chef was a brilliant teacher. Will definitely book another course soon. Thank you xx”

“Thoroughly enjoyable experience, it taught me a lot of things about cooking that I will use in general cooking I do as well as Thai cooking. Excellent teacher, facilities, etc. and the food prepared was delicious. Would highly recommend.”

“Great class, Jirapan was very welcoming and informative. Green Curry and Phad Thai were terrific but the papaya salad was the highlight for me. I’d recommend only using one birds eye chilli - I used two and paid for it!!”

“Relaxed group of six, nicely paced and delivered very good food indeed, which we got to eat for lunch with a nice bottle of white. This was an eye opener to real Thai cookery flavours and the massaman curry, stir fry and chicken satay were fabulous. Well worth it for us and Just a good experience all round.”

“This was a fantastic Thai Cooking course focusing on simple, delicious and healthy Thai Street Food. The recipes are ones that I can immediately use at home with easy to find ingredients, amazing and authentic Thai flavours. Jirapan was not only an amazing host but also extremely knowledgeable and went into great detail, ensuring that everyone understood not just what ingredients were needed in each recipe but also what each ingredient added to the dish and why. We were in a group of 6 people cooking in 3’s which was a perfect size in allowing everyone to contribute to the cooking. It was also nice to sit down and eat, enjoying the food the group had just prepared. I would definitely recommend Paya Thai Cooking and will be looking into booking my next course soon!”

“We (me and 15 year old daughter) had a lovely relaxed afternoon cooking and eating Thai street food. Jirapan is very knowledgeable and gave us some great tips we can use not just for Thai food. The food we made was delicious! Definitely recommended and I will be back!”

“An amazing introduction to Thai cooking - equal parts instructive and fun! Jirapan's enthusiasm and knowledge made this a fantastic experience and unlike a lot of cookery classes, I feel 100% confident that I can make all of the dishes we prepared on the day - particularly with the comprehensive recipe cards we got given at the end of the session. I'd recommend this to anyone, regardless of whether you're a seasoned chef looking to experiment with a new cuisine, or a complete beginner looking to take your first tentative steps.”

“Thank you Jirapan and team! We enjoyed your course so much and learnt lots, very interesting, fun, professional and informative course. The kitchen is beautiful and so clean! Delicious food and so good to know how to use the spices and ingredients, not only for the dishes we cooked but we can adapt our new knowledge for our own dishes.”
