Paid for an MRI scan for a speedier process than using NHS based on their claim that patients receive a full written report within a week. This report took 8 days and lots of chasing up. Received the report but full of terminology a non medical person can't understand so had the call with their GP to discuss the results. Unfortunately this hasnt helped in the slightest as they just repeat what is stated on the report. All I wanted some basic information like do I need surgery and am I ok to start gentle exercises, but to do this I must speak to their consultant who will cost a further £350-350. The actual scan and hospital were perfectly fine and very speedy, but the overall experience of not fulfilling stated timings and then charging more money for the answers has been very disappointing.

Hi Mark, Thank you for your feedback. We have investigated your case and can confirm that your results were sent to you six working days after your scan took place. We accept this is one day later than expected and apologise for the slight delay. At the bottom of your report, there are several frequently asked questions and answers to support and signpost patients who may have queries relating to their scan report. In your case, we can see that you’ve had a follow-up call with one of our GPs following your scan to discuss the next steps and meeting with one of our specialist consultants. MRI scans are excellent tools to diagnose conditions, symptoms and pathology, however, as a diagnostic tool, MRI scans cannot determine a treatment plan. For cases such as yours, a specialist consultant would use the MRI scan report and images, alongside your medical history, to tailor a treatment plan to your individual needs. Our GP has advised which specialist will be able to do this for you. Without going into the specifics of your individual case, it is important to note that the MRI scan was an important part of your diagnosis, and no consultant would have been able to provide a treatment plan without this scan. Therefore, I do wish to assure you that you have not undergone any unnecessary appointments. Our GP has also advised that you would be able to take the MRI report and scan images to your NHS GP who can refer you to an NHS specialist. If you still have questions or don’t fully understand your report, then our GP can discuss this with you again if you wish. Avoid Pall Mall Newton Le Willows. My experience in April this year beggars belief. My surgery with Mr Siddiqui went really well and I am over the moon with my results. It is the after care and the venue itself which falls below other private or NHS facilities I’ve experienced. Without going into the full ins and outs, they venue is full and lifeless for a private clinic, they should take a look at Spire or Alex for comparison and inspiration, They were short staffed, the nurse who greeted my was rushed off her feet and later said she was the only one on duty. My private room was so small and soulless with an en-suite toilet, not bathroom, which had a door which didn’t close, blinds didn’t work and no window in the door for observation. Leg pump required as part of my after care package to avoid blood clots wasn’t switched on until I raised this with the staff once I was fully recovered from my anaesthetic and notice them not working. food ordered from a menu was a complete myth, being told I could only have what was left, discharged without a discharge letter and when requested by my GP had the incorrect dates on. After discharge I needed dressings changed and was asked if my husband or a friend could do it and to go buy some new dressings despite this being part of my aftercare and included in my payment. Although the staff who looked after me were lovely, the level of care leaves much to be desired seeming due to staff shortage. These are just a few things. I made a formal complaint to which Pall Mall either denied on points or gave unsatisfactory and even dismissive responses. They accept no responsibility whatsoever then told me if I wanted to appeal I needed to do this through my consultant. Why, he was amazing and my complaint is about Pall Mall and not Mr Siddiqui who was, and continues to be great. Pall Mall have taken no responsibility for their shortfalls and have actually given unsatisfactory and dismissive responses to my complaint. Totally disinterested. I quickly moved my follow up visits to a reputable hospital and I wouldn’t use Pall Mall again nor recommend then. Iwould go as far to say avoid.

Our patient experience team has completed a full investigation with the support of our Hospital Manager, Head of Operations and Clinical Team (including our nurses and anaesthetist). We are satisfied that we were appropriately staffed on the day of your procedure. We are also satisfied that the Flowtrons were switched on and functioning correctly. Regarding your follow-up appointment, we did offer you an appointment on the day you requested, though we understand that this was not suitable for you, hence why we suggested another alternative. We do accept that the door handle was broken. However, the facilities team would have needed access to the room to fix this, which would have meant rescheduling your procedure. We opted not to do this as that would have caused far greater distress. We pride ourselves on providing patients with the best possible care and outcomes and we’re proud to have excellent patient feedback and scores. We’re really sorry that you did not have the same great experience with us, though we are thrilled that you are pleased with the results of your surgery performed in our hospital theatre. I had to write to let you know how poor the service was at PallMall I had a refferel for cardiology with NHS but the waiting times are way too long so I decided to go private . I had the echocardiogram with Jenny who was so nice .I asked if they only had one cardiologist in which she replied yes .why don't you like him ??I had never met him at this stage , 1st red flag She made me feel at ease and said I would need a prescribing appointment to follow up not the one I had booked .She took me to front desk to book .Receptionists was rude and had lo idea how to make this appointment .Said she'd ring me back guess what no phonecall back I rang and got an appointment the following weekend. I was really excited to find out my results and start the road to feeling well again . Omg Mr.Sultan the cardiologist had no people skills , didn't bring any results up or go through my scans . Just said I probably had long covid .. This I didn't understand as working in private eye hospital I tested regular through covid and I never had covid . Such a cop out answer I asked about my scans he tapped and old Nokia phone that wasn't even touch screen and said yeah OK. Couldn't believe my eyes .he couldn't work the computer either ,great start . I may have angina possible AF but more likely long covid from my jab I was forced to have working in hospital during covid . I wanted to cry I knew he didn't know what was wrong with me or had even looked at my scan .he gloated in the fact he hadn't had any covid injections .was this my appointment or his. I asked why did the lady doing scan say she'd seen something and you'd be prescribing?? He said oh yes you have some swelling in heart. Isn't that important and something I should have been told how bad was swelling where was the swelling can it be fixed and how ? Nothing was answered he reluctantly after me asking can he give me something for pain gave me a prescription .went to reception with prescription to be stamp she asked me for another £20 I'd paid an extra £150 for this prescribing appointment I was told to book on top of payment for consultation already paid . .Gave me some gout meds for heart and sent on my way .did nothing for my chest pain and wasn't what I needed .No idea why I was perscibe what I was .thnk if for for extra £20 if honest . I left with my partner thinking I have no answers I would have respected him more if he had of said he didn't know what was wrong instead of making covid excuses .if Dr.Sultan had said I need extra scans to help diagnoise my problem then great I would have gone ahead .nothing was mentioned to me very little was mentioned just I have long covid. I cried driving home and my partner said he was so sorry for taking to this hospital I was already ill and this wasn't great experience . How can a hospital be so uncaring .I know it is a business and profits and all that ,but you have a duty of care to your patients . The receptionist was only interested in money and if I had paid .why on earth would I book an appointment if I couldn't pay .you wouldn't book it without payment anyway . I paid everything and extras because I thought I was getting better service Please do not go here if you have any heart problems, you will get no answers and to add insult I got a call from a very abrupt rude lady week's later booking me in for MRI and monitor ?? She stated the consultant had requested these .I wasn't aware of any more tests or why I needed them as he didn't say much but long covid in my appointment . It was for more money off me .why on earth would I pay for more scans when he never told me what they were for . Worst experience I have ever had . Lady call me after I was asked for feedback guessing tick box exercise . Told how bad the appointment was and she wasnt really that interested .said she'd look into it and call me back , no call back . Told the rude lady that phoned me for more scans and guess what i received email week later . I was so upset a hospital could be so insensitive .spoke to surgeons at my work and they were astounded by my experience told me to take this further . I didn't once ask for my money back . I feel I gave money for nothing I'm no nearer to knowing what's wrong with my heart .just handed my hard earn money over to a bunch of cowboys. Please stay away from Dr.sultan you will get no answers just a big bill for nothing . Go to a proper hospital and read reviews .I'm amazed at some of the comments on here saying how good this place is .I'd question if they are real . A woman whilst I waited in reception came out and complained to staff she got dismissed and spoken badly to . I should have know then I'd been ripped off and I'd picked a bad hospital. From making appointment to going to Manchester it was the worst experience . No-one cares .please spend your money on a hospital that wants to help and gives you service you have paid for . The woman I spoke to was J.Rooney . I received a email after mentioning to lady that rung me for extra scans saying she had spoken to cardiologist and he was sorry .my guessing is she never spoke to him and I'm just another patient that got ripped off by this terrible service .she said I had been given the best follow up and action plan ,all were untrue I never got anything .How would they feel if this was there mum daughter family member. I have come to conclusion I've lost the money I paid and no scans as they can't send them to me as not got the facilties to do so .I paid for the echo and I'm sure by law I am intitled to a copy . I will be taking this further now as I'm shocked at the treatment I received. Avoid PallMall please if this stops one person from the treatment I received then great . The right thing would be too pay me back what I had paid so I can go get the proper treatment and service I should have received from you .I have no echo scan and a made up report. Just under a thousand pounds for this appointment Really raw about how a hospital can provide such poor service . NOONE at Pallmall is interested in hearing feedback I'm a nice kind good-hearted person and this has thrown me and made me so ill No duty of care at all just more interested in what money they can get off you .think they work on commission. I'd give zero stars if it would let me . Someone needs to look into duty of care and the staff I expected amazing service going private and got the worst treatment I would never want anyone to be treated so unprofessionally. Makes me appreciate the care we give to our patients at hospital I work in .

My first contact was with Philip (16/09/22). I explained my issue (Inguinal Hernia Repair) and within a short time he spoke with the surgeon Mr. Prasad. I had an appointment within 6 days. After the consultation, I met Paula who provided all information and arranged a pre-op assessment 2 days later with Rebeccca. A week later I underwent my repair, expertly performed by Mr. Prasad under local anesthetic, I felt no pain (looked after by Kate (Anesthetic Nurse) and yet I have a scar to confirm the repair. I was looked after on the day by the two Dianes, who were professional and caring. I returned some days later to again meet with Nurse Diane to ensure my operation site was mending. Overall, one of the best decisions I have made, and I cannot over praise the professional conduct of the staff at this clinic. They are informative, caring and don't hang about. Value for money! I recently had an MRI scan at Newton Le Willows & really pleased as the process was very quick. Consultation by phone then MRI. Had the report 2 days later and the radiology team will forward images to any other medical professionals that need them. Price reasonable also. Only reason not give a 5 star rating was no spine specialist, so unable to arrange treatment such as Epidural injections. Despite this I found Pall Mall a pleasure.

I was a patient of Dr. Raghavan for a Rhinoplasty in April 2021, I feel as if I got a completely different altered nose to what was asked for and all my concerns ignored. I still have a noticeable Dorsal Hump, when I asked for complete removal. My nasal ridge is completely straight when I asked for significant change including: Depth, Curvature & Reduction to how far it protrudes from my face, all of which I didn't get. I made it very apparent to Dr Raghavan have multiple sessions to discuss my concerns prior to surgery yet the results speak for itself. My patient care co-ordinator Natalia completely cut off contact not too long after surgery and the office stopped returning calls after things were said to be looked into. In conclusion for the premium priced I paid and all the information I gave I was significantly let down.

I had a rhinoplasty at Pall Mall, I was looked after by Diane and Stacey who were absolutely wonderful. I’ve had a bad experiences in the past with a different hospital, and also suffer with anxiety, but all the hospital staff put me at ease and I felt looked after throughout. The room was clean and tidy, they kept me informed of theatre times and I wasn’t left waiting for long. Thank you for the great experience.

I went to this hospital for breast augmentation and from start to finish I was happy, comfortable and it was very clean and professional. Natalie and Sarah looked after me whilst I was in Pall Mall, they were so lovely and couldn’t of helped any more. All the other Drs and nurses attending to me were also all lovely and helpful. My room was clean and well equipped.

I went to Pall Mall for a head MRI today and I cannot fault them, the reception were helpful, the scan was so much quicker than I expected. They usually take up to an hour but I was out within 20 minutes. It’s also worth nothing the scanner was no where near as loud as the NHS ones - I think this is a major plus because honestly the NHS one I had sounded like a sledge hammer was being whacked against the machine and it was terrifying. I was so nervous but the lady who scanned me was so helpful and reassuring despite how upset I was. Would highly recommend

I have had a great experience with Pall Mall. Mr Maiti was professional, yet approachable and answered all my questions with the upmost patience. Three weeks ago today I arrived at Pall Mall Hospital Newton-le-Willows feeling very apprehensive about my Rhinoplasty operation but I need not have worried as I was put immediately at ease by the receptionist and I cannot fault the care given to my by all of the lovely theatre staff and by Gill and Diane on the ward. Fabulous hospital with great staff - thoroughly recommend.

I am a week post op breast reduction. On the day of my operation I was very nervous but after speaking to Mr Prasad he put my mind at rest and I was confident that I was going to get the smaller breasts I had wanted for a very long time. Well he definitely delivered and I am so happy with the results. Mr Prasad has done a fantastic job and the efficient aftercare I have received has been brilliant, nothing is too much trouble for Maxine and the team. Just a great big heartfelt thank you to you all. You are just Amazing 😀.

In September 2020 my son-in-law suddenly became very poorly and had a psychotic episode. After taking him to A&E three times over 2 days and being turned away because of the Covid 19 pandemic we were desperate for help. We rang Pall Mall Medical and the wonderful Dr Raheel Karim agreed to see him the next day, gave him an immediate assessment and the help he needed. We have been in the hands of this gentle, caring man ever since and I can’t praise him enough. From the depths of despair and bewilderment he has nursed my son-in-law back to full health. He has been there unfailingly, even calling from his home if we needed some advice or support. His expertise, patience and knowledge in his field have been a Godsend, and we will be eternally grateful to him for restoring my daughter’s precious partner and my grandson’s lovely daddy to them. After his last visit he said about Dr Karim ‘I really like him. I feel safe with him.’ What more can I say about this lovely man? Only thank you.

I don't think iv ever wrote a review for anything in my life, but unfortunately i feel i have to in this case. To start I had a consultation with Dr Prasad at Pall mall where we went through everything that I wanted from the surgery. Luckily all this was wrote down! - lump excision on the left chest and liposuction on both chest areas. (No lump excision on the right as it had previously been done on the NHS). After waking up from the surgery I found Mr Prasad had actually operated on both sides. Even the side that had been done prior on the NHS which I was already happy with. This was without consent. The side he shouldn’t have operated on healed wrong leaving a nasty overhang. The side that I originally went in for, (left side chest) was done completely wrong, the whole nipple had a fold in it and the side of the chest was deformed (Done completely wrong). This gets better - I actually left the hospital with no compression garment on, Which is something iv never heard of before. Especially after this type of surgery. They said ‘they didn’t have one that fit me’ I went back to get the drain out about a week later, Mr Prasad took a look at the results and commented the fold would come out. And if it doesn’t it can be corrected with a small cut to release the skin. Weeks later after complaining I was not happy with the fold, he then decided to inject filler into the nipple to bring out the fold. This left it sticking out like a block! As for the side he shouldn’t have operated on and was healing wrong, he told me he needed to inject some scar tissue solution to correct it. This didn’t work. I gave up on Pall Mall and went to see a specialist in London (Harley Street). Its something I couldn’t live with and needed correcting. Although I had to beg him to at least give the correction a go as its something he didn’t really want to get involved in. Luckily the surgeon in London was able to remove all the filler and correct both sides. Very poor all around from Pall Mall, even the aftercare, no check ups, the only time I heard from the ‘patient coordinator’ was a WhatsApp txt talking about arranging the payment. Which is all she seemed bothered about Mr Prasad should not be allowed to operate on people. I really don’t understand how he is qualified. I am proceeding a claim for such bad negligence - As I was speaking to the solicitors and they started looking into it, they told me they have a lot of open cases again Mr Prasad already. This speaks for itself. Probably the worst story iv ever heard about a cosmetic surgery journey, and I’m sad to say this is my own journey. All I can do is try and make you all aware and try and get you to go somewhere PROPER.

Absolutely amazing experience for my surgery at pall mall. From the consultation to the follow up appointment after surgery,my whole experience was more than I could ever ask for. All the staff, from my consultant to aftercare were so lovely and welcoming. The surgeon Dr krishnan talked through everything that was going to happen and everything to expect after he was such a nice man . He made me very comfortable and not so nervous. I'd never had cosmetic surgery before so I was initially so nervous. He did such an amazing job, truely life changing. The aftercare team I couldn't thank enough I had my own private room and they waited on me hand and foot. Thankyou so much . An extra big thanks to the nurse that removed my dressing 1 week after my surgery. I was so worked up with anxiety before the apointment she calmed me down and helped me through it. Your team do a wonderful job I can't say it enough how happy I am with everything, so thanks again.

Workers here were all lovely, Kelly and Sarah are gems. I was given room to wait in for a while that was a good size, clean and it had a decent TV for my little wait. Plenty of cuppas dished out after op :) Never been in any gown/operating room so a strange experience for me but all staff comforting and was there if I had any questions and made small talk to settle nerves. Thank you
