“We initially required our old leaky garage to be knocked down & replaced with a new 5M x 4M garden room. After a lot of research, we decided to approach OBG for a quote. We received a call from Campbell where we discussed what our requirements were and he quoted us a price to do the garden room & demolish the garage. This price never changed throughout the entire build. A week later Stuart came to our home to review the project & survey the site. He discussed exactly what would happen throughout the build process and answered our questions. We felt a lot more confident after this meeting that we had picked the right company to do the work. At this point we paid a small deposit to confirm the job. This was the only time that we paid any money up front. Every other time we made a payment was when one of the build milestones was completed. A couple of weeks later we visited one of OBG's offices at Aboyne to meet David & finalise the design & materials. A couple of days later we got lucky when there was a cancellation somewhere & we were given a date of when the project would start. The first team of workers turned up on the advised date and they put in a real shift. Within 3 days our old garage was knocked down & removed and they had laid the new cement base for our garden room. We found this the most stressful part of the build due to the amount of material lying around in the garden but by the time the guys left everything was tidy and in order. The joiners were here the following week and they built the garden room in 3 days. The week after that the decorator was here for a couple of days to do the plastering & painting and the electrician arrived to connect the power & put in the lights/sockets etc and also connect the internet. We did a final walk round of the build at this point & the keys were handed over. We cannot praise the tradesmen enough. They all did a brilliant job and we were very happy with their work. All of them were very friendly, even some of our neighbours commented that they were impressed with them. Throughout the whole process the office staff Amy & Theresa kept us up to date with what was happening. We were delighted with how smoothly the entire project went. The whole job was completed within 4 weeks from when it started and we are delighted with how our garden room has turned out. We would highly recommend OBG, thank you!”

“OBG built us a new garden room measuring 8m x 4.5m. They were very helpful from start to finish. The quote was very competitive and initial meetings were helpful. Subsequent enquiries were dealt with promptly. Once the work started, the team was very efficient and helpful. The whole thing was completed in about 4 weeks from the start of the ground works. The room is great and overall, we’d strongly recommend OBG.”

“We recently had our garden room built and we’re extremely happy with the results. We’re using this as a music room/studio and it’s exceeded our expectations. Stuart and his team were very professional from our first meeting right through to the final walk round, and had continuous contact with us throughout. “OBG completed our single storey extension and internal work recently. The difference of the work has made our house into a home. Not many companies would consider a single storey extension to a terraced house but OBG rose to the challenge. We were guided and listened to. We had no stress of organising tradesmen as OBG have their own. Living in the house with a young family whilst the work was getting completed was a bit daunting however the tradesmen were nothing but jolly gents, very considerate, always tidying before they left that day and very trustworthy. The completion of the work was to a very high standard. I would definitely recommend OBG they go the extra mile!”

“We had an amazing experience with OBG. We needed a space that worked for our family and the minute we spoke to the guys at OBG they just got it. They designed everything exactly as my mum wanted and gave helpful suggestions to improve the space. Our journey continued to get better when the team arrived on site, they worked restlessly to ensure a quick and efficient job was done and my mums new home was ready as soon as it could be. “As soon as we spoke to Stuart at obg we pretty much knew we wanted to use them. Right from the start you could tell these guys knew they're stuff and were full of knowledge to get things in place that we hadn't even thought of! We designed everything in house. From planning, flooring, wetroom to kitchen. We had to adapt our home for my disability as I could no longer manage the stairs to my bedroom and bathroom. We added an extension and redesigned the whole downstairs layout which was a big job. I now have everything I need on one level and do not need to struggle with the stairs. The finish to our renovation is more than what we could have wished for, we absolutely love it. The guys working on our job were fantastic, even my neighbours liked them. They were courteous, helpful and extremely tidy during the build.”
