“I haven't used the product yet but have in the past so know it is fine. Customer Services were very helpful when I contacted them via live chat on their website to check on tracking details as I had paid for next (working) day delivery. They responded immediately providing the details so I knew the order was arriving the following day ie: Monday which it did around 9am.”

“I ordered brick acid at approx 4pm and paid £10 for next day delivery. They didn’t deliver it until 2 working days after with no notification that this would be the case. I should’ve just paid first class delivery!”

Dear Scot You ordered at 16.26 on a Wednesday (the carrier had already collected at this time....our cut off time for same day dispatch is 14.00), so was sent the following day and arrived on Friday and signed for by yourself at 14.46. By all accounts, that's pretty good service :-)

Thanks for your message.... you ordered on Monday at 12.46 and we dispatched on Thursday, arriving on Friday at 09.07. We do manage our stock levels very well with incoming orders from some of our supplier(s) on a 3-4 week lead time. On the very odd occasion, high demand may result in us having to wait a couple of days for new stock to arrive. We do state in our delivery terms that orders received before 2pm Monday-Friday (excluding Bank Holidays) will be dispatched the same day (subject to items being in stock) for next day delivery. Apologies if you are disappointed on this occasion.

“North Star responded promptly to my initial enquiry and followed that up by equally quick delivery - they do what they say on the can. Interestingly, it was significantly cheaper to deal with North Star direct rather than buy the same item and delivery service via Amazon...”
