About Nibble & Gnaw:

Everyone involved in Nibble & Gnaw is a pet owner. And we all want the same thing: our pets to be happy and healthy. That’s our mission. It's the reason we founded the business.

We all know that diet is the most important thing for keeping small animals happy and healthy, and that forage should make up about 90% of their diet.

One day, whilst complaining about the poor quality of hay being sold, one of our friends said: "You know the hay I take into the Middle East for their thorough-breds? What about bringing that in to the UK for rabbits and guinea pigs?"

And that's how Nibble & Gnaw got started!

“I've been buying my bunnies their hay from Nibble & Gnaw for some time now. They love the 2nd cut Timothy hay. I've tried all sorts of hay from lots of other places but I have to honestly say that Nibble & Gnaw's is by far the greenest and tastiest and my bunnies always go for this first. It also smalls devine!”

“Have been receiving hay from this company for a while now and so I thought I should give an honest review. I can honestly say its the only hay my Rabbits and Guinea pig will eat. Always green, well packaged and minimal dust compared to major competitors. The price is also reasonable. Delivery usually takes a few days so best to have an order ready before you run out. Website is also very easy to navigate and changes can easily be made for type of hay or date you require delivery Only improvement I would suggest is when nibble points are given after each purchase, you can deduct the price from your repeat deliveries. I haven't found a way to do this.”

“My Guinea pigs absolutely love this hay. I’ve tried many before but this has to be some of the best quality I’ve purchased. The subscription runs smooth every month and delivery is great. Packaging is also very good and recyclable. Would highly recommend!”

“My bunny LOVES nibble and gnaw second cut Timothy hay! Since it’s the main part of his diet, it’s so important to me that he enjoys his hay, and this hay has been his favourite by far!”

“I got the starter pack because the hay I use from Selective has so much dust in it now :( the nibble and gnaw hay is so much better quality and my piggy loves it. Will be getting a bigger bag of it :)”

“My rabbits are so very very fussy and much of the hay I buy for them end up with my guinea pigs (who are not fussy at all). I noticed that nibble and gnaw were doing an offer on 1st and 2nd cut hay so I thought why not give this a go! Well that us just bought a full box of 1st cut as my rabbits have very quickly made their way through the taster box, extremely happy bunnos and a relieved bunmum”

“I’ve got a Hermann’s tortoise who isn’t eating much in the winter - I’d heard Timothy hay was good for their diet, so I bought the starter box. Because he’s only little (just over a year old) I used the second cut, which is softer, and he’s not eating it like I'd hoped… BUT he absolutely loves hiding in it and sleeping in it! You can tell he’s much happier, he’s got nice little hiding spots where he can climb under the hay and have a nap. So whilst it’s not working for what I intended, I have a very happy little tortoise, so I’m happy too! Standard notes - The hay arrived quickly, nicely packaged, and exactly as described - very clean, no nasties or dust, just lovely bits of hay. Will definitely be coming back for more when my tortoise needs it!”

“Absolutely the best hay out there for my bunny Rolo. He absolutely loves this hay and turns his nose up if we even dare to give him anything else. The customer service from the team at Nibble & Gnaw is 2nd to none. I’ve had to change my deliveries a few times due to needing it sooner etc and everything runs like clockwork. Highly recommend them as your hay suppliers”

“Buy the 2nd cut hay for fussy rabbits and it works out as good value as they actually eat it! The hay is good quality, has a low dust content and is a convenient length to fill their hay basket. It comes compressed in recyclable/ biodegradable packaging, and delivery is always prompt.”
