About Nibble & Gnaw:

Everyone involved in Nibble & Gnaw is a pet owner. And we all want the same thing: our pets to be happy and healthy. That’s our mission. It's the reason we founded the business.

We all know that diet is the most important thing for keeping small animals happy and healthy, and that forage should make up about 90% of their diet.

One day, whilst complaining about the poor quality of hay being sold, one of our friends said: "You know the hay I take into the Middle East for their thorough-breds? What about bringing that in to the UK for rabbits and guinea pigs?"

And that's how Nibble & Gnaw got started!

“I swapped to nibble and gnaw as another known brand my buns decided not to eat it anymore. My buns all enjoy this hay.”

“My bunny doesn’t like hay so I thought I would try this one as review were good, I tried him on the first one he ate a little bit but not a lot, I’m now trying him on the second on let’s see how this one goes, perhaps he just not a hay bunny 😆”

“Was very impressed with the quality of the hay in the 'try me' hay box & ordered 1st cut Timothy hay as bunny preferred that, again was happy with the first box. Since then the quality has gone downhill, the hay is shorter, there's lots of soft brown bits plus more dust.”

“My bunny's do enjoy your hay very much, that being said there is a fair amount of dust and once I get to the last quarter of the bag I do have to throw a lot of the hay out. I'm happy to pay extra for good quality hay but it feels wasteful throwing away so much of the hay given the price I'm paying for it.”

“Package arrived really promptly. The second I put the hay in her run Ebony started nibbling on it. She’s always been fussy about her hay but she seems to enjoy the first cut more than any other type I’ve tried her on and I’ve tried lots!”

“Have been buying the second cut ultra premium timothy hay for my chinchillas for a while. I am not entirely sure if my chinnies have been playing with them or actually like eating them. Anyway, I am happy with the product and on subscription.”

“I got the 8.8kg 1st cut Timothy hay. It came fairly quickly. & boy is my bun spoilt! She won’t eat anything else! She always loves the flavour & texture. & will eat til her hay is finished. Only issue is it’s very pricey”
