About Nibble & Gnaw:

Everyone involved in Nibble & Gnaw is a pet owner. And we all want the same thing: our pets to be happy and healthy. That’s our mission. It's the reason we founded the business.

We all know that diet is the most important thing for keeping small animals happy and healthy, and that forage should make up about 90% of their diet.

One day, whilst complaining about the poor quality of hay being sold, one of our friends said: "You know the hay I take into the Middle East for their thorough-breds? What about bringing that in to the UK for rabbits and guinea pigs?"

And that's how Nibble & Gnaw got started!

It used to be excellent hay, exactly as described on their website: long strands and dust-free. Unfortunately, over the past couple of months the quality has deteriorated significantly. It’s now mostly short, broken pieces with an excessive amount of dust. I didn’t cancel my subscription after the first poor delivery, hoping it was just a one-off, but the following month was exactly the same. Sadly, I’m now about to cancel the subscription. I was happy to pay a premium for genuinely high-quality hay, but I’m not prepared to pay that price for such poor quality.

Received Order but received wrong items. No easy way to contact customer service and don't get the item details visible when you place order. Really expensive hay. Expected a bit more to be honest. Disappointed.

Customer service has dropped off completely. Over 10 days for delivery. No tracking being sent, no emails being replied to. Calls not being answered. Something not right here after an amazing service for so long!

Hi Victoria. I am so very very sorry about this. We've been having difficulty migrating from one system to another and things have fallen between the cracks. I have cancelled your subscription. I’ve been a subscriber for years. The product is the best and my rabbits love it. Customer service is non-existent, however. One of the company’s marketing points is that it will never let a customer down ever. It has failed. My subscriptions page is blank and despite repeated attempts to contact the company it has failed to respond. If a personal crisis is causing an issue I would understand but just ignoring customers and giving no explanation is simply unprofessional. This is not the first time there has been a lack of communication either. Have bought elsewhere now. Very disappointing.

I have had a subscription for a while, and needed to postpone the latest one. When I try to go to my subscriptions page, it goes blank. I tried from several devices but the same thing. I emailed asking to cancel my subscription as I can’t access it. No reply so emailed again. Then money comes out of my account and no email, so emailed again to no avail. Tried phoning 5 times now over several days and nobody answers the phone. Had to report to my bank as fraudulent transaction as I had asked to cancel. What has gone wrong? Very poor.

I wish I could give it five stars, but the customer service is absolutely awful. I've been trying to cancel a subscription and the web page is currently broken, and isn't showing me any information for my subscription. I've tried contacting their customer service but have received no response, causing a shipment to be sent that I did not want despite trying to cancel for close to a week now.

I have been getting N&G for 2 years now via Amazon but was not available so ordered directly & my bunny isn't touching it ! Gutted as he loved it & was binking when I was getting it for him from the bag. Disappointed

I read good reviews of your 2nd cut hay saying it was lovely and green. I ordered some but was so disappointed! There was so much brown in it, which obviously rabbits don't eat, so I feel cheated out of £16+.

The Timothy hay I ordered was very hard to pull out of its bag. My rabbits refused to eat it. I threw it away.

Hello Deborah, I have checked for you there and we have sent your parcel as requested, but as of now it is currently in Swansea Depot. You can track your progress of the parcel in confirmation email we send out but I will call you now and walk you through that if you need assistance.

Hi Danielle, sorry to hear you haven't received your order as yet. Unfortunately, that issue lies with Royal Mail as we outsource our deliveries to them, but I will chase that up now with them for you and find out what it wrong.

Hi Janet, sorry to hear you haven't recieved your hay yet. We're currently being held back by the recent strikes that Royal Mail and Parcelforce are conducting so I believe this is what is holding your order back. I will chase it up for you and try and find an answer for you soon.

Money been taken from the account in a second ,haven't time even to change the address . Now to cancelthe order haven't call and explaine everything. So Im unhappy about it ,make more problems .

Dear Ellis - I don’t know if you got our previous email about your hay being left at the depot and is awaiting your instruction on whether you want to pick it up or have it delivered again. Here is the link to Royal Mail Track and Trace - Track and Trace - Track your Item | Royal Mail Ltd. And your tracking number is as follows -400547855000879F44968. Royal Mail attempted delivery on 28 January twice one in the morning and then after early afternoon. I wonder if Royal Mail did not leave a card with you saying that they had attempted delivery! Do let me know. In the meantime, we are happy to give you a refund and we will have the hay returned to us. Kind regards. Elaine @nibbleandgnaw

I bought this for someone else but it seems.i paid far far.too much £5/£6 in local.store I.paid.£32 i guinea.pigs.loved.it but paid far.to.much for.it I 3ont be re ordering
