They were which in delivery. Only thing is they were not tight. Very loose had to keep pushing them up

I have only just found new lenses and the service was great! However when my lenses arrived there were green glares on all 5 pairs. This was a shame as i thought i had selected anti reflection lenses. This is the only down fall of online lens service. They were quick and professional however whether it was a miscommunication on my part or not it was unfortunate that all 5 paira now have this

I received my glasses promptly but they arrived with one nose pad missing. I had to do a repair myself as I needed to user the glasses.

The pair of glasses I bought inexplicably had a logo printed directly onto the lens that had to be scraped off before use. It was tough to do and resulted in a minor scratch on the glass

Hi, thank you for your review, I'm very sorry about this, we thought you wasted just the frame only, we would be happy to take the frame back and fit clear non prescription fashion lenses free of charge. Kind regards.

Relatively fast service, the disappointment is the transitions do not go dark enough like my old lenses. Poor quality transitions.

Hi Mahendra, Thank you for taking the time to write a review. I'm sorry that you aren't satisfied with the Transitions lenses. The reason is that you previously had Transitions XTRActive lenses which go darker than regular Transitions lenses which you chose on this order. We would be happy to change the lenses to Transitions XTRActive for you as per our emails. We use genuine Transitions / Transitions XTRActive lenses which are backed by a 2 year guarantee and certificate of authenticity. Kind regards, Adam

I was rather disappointed with the bifocal on my glasses,as the magnifier is too far down and not a line accross the centre of lens as stated.I have to hold the glasses up with my hand to read.

Hi, I'm very sorry to hear that you're not happy with the bifocal lenses. We do offer two types of bifocal (D seg, or "executive" which is the line across the centre). We would be happy to replace your lenses with the executive bifocal lens, please contact us at support@newlenses.co.uk.

Was disappointed with how long the lenses took to be made up. Apparently they sat for 4 days without being worked on despite having received them!(had to send the glasses and a photo due to wanting varifocals) an Andy from customer service stated he would look into it but never got back to me. Shame as the glasses themselves were great! Just the customer experience side wasn't

Rather basic glasses, but for the price are acceptable. I needed spare pairs to watch TV with and they do the job admirably. Would definitely use them again when I need to.

I placed an order via Newlenses.co.uk to re-glaze my existing glasses and sunglasses. The order process was quick and straightforward. I then had to send my existing frames to Newlenses.co.uk so the new lenses could be fitted. This was at my own cost - I would have preferred it if Newlenses.co.uk could have sent me a postage paid box to enable me to send the frames to them at no additional cost (as many other suppliers do). Once I had sent them the lenses, it took just over 2 weeks for the re-glazed glasses to be received. Fortunately I had a spare pair of glasses otherwise this would have been a problem. I would really expect to receive the new glasses within a week, regardless of how complex the lenses are. I also found that it was quite difficult to get a order update from Newlenses.co.uk other than a generic "Order processing" response. I have a feeling that customer services are simply e-receptionists and would have preferred to speak to someone who actually worked for the company. I did however receive an email response within a day to advise me of my order progress after speaking to customer services. Overall, I was very pleased with the quality of my newly re-glazed glasses when they finally arrived but Newlenses.co.uk falls short of achieving a 5 star rating for the above reasons.

I am pleased with the quality of the lenses however my frames one brand new and one on first lens change have been stretched so much they fall off my face. As they are designer frames my optician won't fix them. I am gutted and wish I had not used this company.

Glasses are great, price ok delivery time awful! took much too log. Customer services pleasant and responded quickly, however it didn't alter the waiting time for delivery. I have used other online opticians and they were much much quicker. Good quality glasses though.

We do normally say 7-10 working days for Varifocals, this is because we supply Digital Freeform varifocal lenses as standard - this is a complex lens and therefore takes a bit longer to complete. Usually you have to pay an upgrade cost for these lenses with other opticians as they are a superior lens, but the downside is they take a bit longer. Kind regards, Adam

Ok, the price was amazing and the speed of the deliver as well but it was a bit disappointed because apparently my glasses came with a soft case, so the hard case they used was too short and I think is because of that one of the arms came a bit turned.
