I bought a house just before the recession and soon found myself in a lot of negative equity and after a drop in income and a few stressful years i knew i couldn't keep going the way I was. After looking into all my options I came across Negative Equity/CD Fairfield-the best thing ever -after initial meeting with Bob who explained everything and then Tom who took all details of my situation the whole team dealt with everything.Every one made me feel at ease and I couldn't have got out of this awful situation without them.A special thanks to Lesley who was always at the other end of the phone -professional and friendly Thankyou. To anyone in a similiar situation I highly recommend talking to Negative Equity.

I am delighted i came across this brilliant firm. They not only saved us from paying £70,000 in debt they gave us incredible piece of mind. Like everyone else we bought a house in the boom and lost the value of the house during the down turn. Both me and my partner had broke up and were left paying for a house we would never live in again. Renting out the house didn't cover the mortgage so i was left with paying rent on the house i moved into as well as trying to cover the mortgage. My living expenses went up and i always seemed to be broke. I was sad at the thought of having to pay that mortgage for another 20 years. Thank god i don't have to as Lesley and the team took care of it all. I just sat back and waited as they consolidated everything for me. I found Lesley to be not only professional in her approach but friendly and helpful too, she knows her job. I can't believe they saved me the amount they did. I am delighted i am free of it all and don't have to think about it anymore. I thought their fee was very reasonable for the job they did. A Happy Client Caroline Middleton

At first we were sceptical about this process but our situation left us no option and we are now glad to have talked to Negative Equity. We had been hit with a sizeable minus equity after the housing market crashed and were stuck in an interest only mortgage with no hope of clearing before the term ended. Handing the keys back was not an option to us so we thought that there was no other way until speaking to the team at Negative Equity. They held our hands through the entire process offering advice and options, something we hadn't had to that point. The result was better than hoped, with a large portion of the debt being written off this left us with a smaller amount that is easily cleared allowing us to move on with our lives. To everyone involved in getting us here, thanks Bob, Tom, Natasha, Diane and Lesley. You have made a difference.

Many thanks to Bob, Tom, Lesley & Adele. I had been sold two "pig in a poke propertries" for part of my retirement fund that left me having to keep pumping money to maintain the properies for suitable tenants. I had been stressed out for last 10 years trying to keep on top of this investment. Last April 2016 I was left with no way to resolved this bad investment as more money was now required to replace the bolier and sort out the dampness, Coming close to my retirement date I had to walk away. After being recommend to Negative Equity and discusstion with Bob who agreed to take on my case. My life has now change 100% for what Tom had discussed at our first meeting had ben furfilled saving me 64% of my total debt to the lender including the mortage arrears and legel fees . I had no dealings with my lender, selling both properties and all the legal expenses, as this had been dealt successfully by Tom's team. I would highty recommend anybody out there who need advice regarding debts to talk to Negative Equity as my regret is not doing it sooner............Gary

We had bought a house during the property boom years as an investment. Unfortunately, like many others similar to us we were left with a house with a lot of negative equity and the rent that didn't cover the repayments. Fortunately for us Tom and the guys from "Negative Equity UK" helped us to come to a favourable agreement with our lenders. The pleasing thing was that when we first discussed our case, Tom was extremely knowledgeable and gave us the most likely outcome for our situation. During the process, we were always kept up to date with any significant progress. I would highly recommend "Negative Equity UK" to anyone that was in our situation.

Absolutely brilliant. We were stuck in a house we'd never have been able to repay in full. 10 months ago we owed £240,000 against a house worth £150,000. Now the house is sold, we're paying back the settlement over 5 years (£22,000) and we can actually plan for the future (something we've been unable to do this last few years). I only wish we'd done this sooner.

I had bought a house in 2007 at £187k with a 100% mortgage paying interest only at 5.99%. I felt trapped and could see no way out of the situation. Having met with the guys at Negative Equity, they helped me realise that there was a light at the end of the tunnel. They set realistic expectations, reacted quickly to the mortgage provider's responses and adapted to the changing needs. We handed the keys back to the mortgage provider and crystalised a debt of £110k. Negative Equity negotiated a full and final settlement of £30k, writing off £80k and freeing us from debt. The relief has been unimaginable and I feel that I can now move on with my life. I cannot speak highly enough about Negative Equity/CD Fairfield. They were friendly, professional, efficient and extremely effective! To put it simply, I could not have got out of the terrible situation I was in without them.

I was in a situation with a 100% mortgage of £187,000 on a property worth approximately half of that amount (£95k) due to the down turn in the last years. The bank that I was with had a high variabIe rate of 5.99% and would not discuss new terms or provide any help with a new deal. I could not afford the payments each month and as the mortgage was interest only, there was no end in sight. I approached negative equity to help in this situation and they immediately provided clear advice and a warm feeling that they could help and seek a resolution within approximately 1 year. We made the decision to give the house back to the bank. In turn the house was sold by the bank for £95k with then an outstanding debt of over £110,000 (once arrears and costs had been added). With the help of negative equity we came to a final agreement with the bank of a £30k debt settlement, with the remaining £80k written off. This unbelievable result would not have been possible without their help. I can honestly say that I would recommend this company 100%. I am not the sort of person that writes reviews but for something of this magnitude I have to say it would be wrong not to. We as a family have now been able to move on with our lives and plan a future without this dark cloud of debt (which seemed impossible to escape) hanging over us. I am a very happy customer!!

Last year I negotiated and completed a partial settlement with the mortgage lenders for a house repossession. I did this with the help of Negative Equity NI. In the settlement the bank declared me free of liability for losses relating to the case. Although I had expected to live in the house permanently, I had to leave it after I realised that my new wife, who is disabled, was unable to climb the stairs. She also became pregnant, which required frequent specialist medical care in Belfast. We made the decision to sell the house, after the bank refused to accept reduced payments from us. Despite trying two separate estate agents, we were unable to sell the property. We were also unable to rent the property to anyone. We did eventually get a tenant, who then defaulted on six months of rent and wouldn't leave without a rent waiver. At this point we approached Negative Equity NI, who helped us settle the case with a much smaller lump sum. They saved us a lot of heartache and allowed us to restart our lives. We will be forever grateful.

We had bought our flat at exactly the wrong time, ultimately leaving us with a huge shortfall and the prospect of staying in what was meant to have been our starter home, for life. After a long and frustrating search for help we were about to give up when we saw a billboard advert for Negative Equity NI. Despite being massively sceptical we decided to give them a call. Very glad we did as we have now been able to offload the property, move home and manage our debt with reasonable and affordable monthly payments. The guys at CD Fairfield were very helpful and honest and always available to answer any questions we had....and there were many! Highly recommended, they turned out to be a real lifesaver.

Our buy to let property was on an interest only mortgage, with £50000 negative equity and there was a real possibility of interest rate rises back in August 2014. We thought we were going to lose our family home as well as the buy to let, things were that bad. I spoke to Negative equity, who took on my case and then put a plan in place to get me out of this mess. They dealt with the bank and their solicitors directly, so apart from having to sign a couple of forms, I didn't really have anything to do. My debt was cleared with the bank for £5000 in June 2016 and my credit score wasn't affected. I can't thank the Negative equity team enough, as I didn't think I had anywhere else to turn. I would certainly recommend them to anybody in a similar situation.

We had 2 buy to let properties which were interest only and in negative equity to the tune of £112,000. We didn't know what to do, and a friend recommended CD Fairfield. We contacted Heather who took on our case, explained how everything would work and the timescale and the probable outcome. During the negotiation period we had no contact with mortgage company at all, so our normal lives were able to continue. We ended up paying £20,000 as a full and final settlement, for which we were delighted to pay. Heather was brilliant throughout the whole process, keeping us up to date at each stage, and I would highly recommend her and CD Fairfield.
