“Quick delivery, low price, but not the best quality product.”

“Hello, In order #67122 (Dried Fruit Wolf (Goji) Berries NCFG01, 2 x 1kg), all the berries turned out to be poorly dried and stuck together. Some of the berries show very noticeable traces of mold, which makes them unfit for consumption. I was contacted the seller after submitting my initial review and provided the photos of effected berries. The seller has fully refunded the money for this part of the order.”

“They have a range of nuts but the lroce has increased way too much for me to order as regularly as I did. Their Walnuts have gone from £9 to nearly £12. The brazil nuts have gone from £11 to over £19. Cannot afford it anymore. I will have to shop around for a better deal.”

We are all disappointed and frustrated with price increases which are unavoidable due to poor crops caused by climate change around the world, inflated shipping costs due to fuel and tariffs, increased overheads from taxes, services, and wages, the list goes on… However, we still believe we offer the finest and freshest products at competitive prices. With the cost of nuts and dried fruit being so high, these products are a luxury for most customers, therefore we fully appreciate it’s not always affordable. “Delivery was very speedy, which was good. I wouldn't buy anything from here again though as I think the pecans I bought were either poor quality or not fresh or at any rate are so tasteless that no one should be selling them, especially not for such a lot of money. Also I bought other things (one overpriced) to make up the order to qualify for free postage so this was a very expensive experiment.”

We fully appreciate justified opinions on taste and quality; however, your views are very different from the vast majority who have left five-star reviews for both products. No one is forced into purchasing our products, if you have the opinion that the products we offer are expensive or overpriced, then it’s best not to purchase them. “Very sticky and all stuck together could see any whole ones”

“I loved the quick delivery. Macademia Butter was a runny for me and had a bit of an after taste. I usually get from the grape but it's now discontinued there. I tried this and it could be a bit more thicker and less of an after taste. But all in all I appreciated their service”

“It would be 5 stars but I have had a problem with mango slices (not the organic one, they were lovely) . The company said that because I had opened them they could not accept a return. This seemed rather ridiculous as it wasn't until I opened them that I found that they smelt awful and were totally inedible! This was on a previous order to this one and strangely I was not sent an email to give a review that time! This is what they said in their email reply: "We have sold a large amount of the dried sliced mango on batch 38523 and have had many good reviews since your purchase, so I think this is personal preference. "Unfortunately, as the bag has already been opened, we can’t receive it back, ...." Since then I found the reviews on here and found 2 other reviews that gave 1 star for the product because it was inedible. The reply to one review follows: "Thank you for your review, however, we are deeply disappointed that you felt the need to leave a 1-star review without contacting us first. Sliced mango is one of our best selling products, we rarely have any issues due to the fact we always process and pack current crop, and use only the finest growers. Any kind of complaints for this product is most unusual, however, had you contacted us we would have offered you a full replacement, or issued a full refund, and arranged collection for testing. Regards, The Natural Choice Team" Unfortuanately this was not what happened with me. On a positive note everything else that I have ordered form them has been really good quality and a good price. It is a shame that they did not deal with my complaint in the manner in which they told another reviewer they would.”

Hi Roger, Sorry to hear this... However, we are totally confused given that this order was for brazil nuts, and we haven't supplied you with any Hazelnuts??? In fact you have only every purchase brazil nuts (on several occasions) and 1kg of mixed nuts in shell in early December 2024. Are you sure the hazelnuts were purchased from us... Please be assured we only use the finest nut products to produce our nut pastes, which are freshly roasted and processed in our own facility using pure nuts. Firstly, all our deliveries options are based on a 24hr service at an unbeatable price due to the fact we subsidise carriage charges. We also offer free delivery for orders over £50, this is clearly stated on the home page of our website and under the delivery tab. Your order totalled £42.85 which is £7.15 short of our free delivery offer. Hi Terry, Thank you for your feedback, at HBS we are always looking at greener, cleaner methods to reduce environmental impact. Sadly when it comes to food contact packaging the choice is very limited, food packaging need to meet a specific criteria to achieve food safety standards, maximum shelf life, freshness, and protection in transit. Recycled materials can contaminate products, the absorbent properties of paper and card packaging does not work with oily and moist products like fruit and nuts. Wax coated paper packaging appears environmentally friendly, but the sad truth is by having different compounds within the packaging makes it hard to recycle, and ends up in landfill. We are already using fully recyclable pouches, cardboard outer packaging, paper tapes. “The almonds are almost impossible to crack. The shell must be 4-5mm thick. I have never had this problem before. The rest of the nuts are ok.”

Hi Iain, Thank you for your feedback. Almond shells do vary in thickness, this is normally due to variety of almond but also growing conditions which can vary every season.
