“The site is easy to use. Thank you very much. I had, however, a really bad interview where I was treated poorly by a school. What happened to me is not at all MyNewTerm's responsibility, but perhaps might you consider a system which the candidates can rate schools and/or share their interview experiences like "Glassdoor" site? Thank you.”

“MyNewTerm is ok as a website for job applications it’s good that it stores your previous data. My only recommendation is if there was an acceptance button when you received the job offer. The other thing I would add is the questions in the survey don’t match the service. Thanks K”

“Hi, I found MyNewTerm easy to follow when applying for the Maiden Erlegh Chiltern Edge position. However, I applied for a position with The River Academy In April and was offered an interview. Sadly this coincided with my annual holiday. I informed MyNewTerm by filling out the relevant information requested, asking for an alternative date. However, sadly I received no response. I also emailed The River Academy direct when I didn't hear anything a few days later only to be told that the position had been filled and sorry. This I found very upsetting and I believe your system failed.”

“Have use my new term three times in recent months. It’s really handy to have all my data and information in one secure place and then it’s just a case of writing the personal statement. Nearly had a heart attack as the deadline approached at 11:58 on Friday night, because I posted my statement in there and almost sent it with comments from a colleague who looked at my personal statement and pimped it a bit. That part was so stressful I cried but that’s not the fault of my new fault the fact that the deadline closes at 12 and then you can’t submit after that , I think that some people particularly support find it intimidating to use my new term, but I think it’s great for safer recruiting and it makes the process much more streamlined. A friend recently used it to apply for And Exams officer position at my school and I had to guide her through the process because having not working schools before and after a 20 year Absence From the workforce as raising children and working for a family business she didn’t feel she had the experience or qualifications to apply for the position in reality she’s going to be brilliant. It did take quite a lot of coaching to persuade her that she could make the application.”

“My New Term is easy to use. Once you have developed your profile, you can easily adapt it for any future applications. The notifications work well and there is a clear timeline to each application. I have had a little trouble with the location search, getting adverts from places further than my selected distance.”

“Very efficient - no more filling in multiple applications - it saves your master copy for you to tweak for every application thereafter. One gripe - make it clearer that some references will be taken up prior to interview. The tick box on here is minuscule and I nearly dropped a clanger by having my ex boss bothered before of even pre-warmed him.”
