“The exhaust section arrived promptly the next day. Quality is good and lines up perfectly. Hardest part of the job is removing the nuts from the rear silencer flange as they are recessed and will be completely rusted up. I used a dremell to cut a nick in the nuts then used a hammer and cold chisel to break them away replaced the nuts with new. Use a new crush gasket on the flange as the original will not be reusable. I used a 9-inch disc, angle grinder to cut the old pipe about 2 inches forward of the old resonator. My new pipe came flared and slid snugly over the old one after thoroughly cleaning off any surface rust with an emery cloth. There is no welding required.”
