“The cake I sent was a gift but the one I received was delicious. Very moist and tasting of orange too but I didn't keep it in the fridge and went mouldy to my great disappointment.”

“I recently sent a ginger cake to a cycling relative who has received these from me before and adored them. It makes all the cycling exercise worth while for a hunk of cake! So it’s the perfect present (& the non-cycling family members enjoy it too) Well done and thankyou to the Meg Rivers team.”

“I AWAITED WITH MUCH ANTICIPATION FOR YOUR MINCE PIES TO ARRIVE! OH WHAT A DISSAPOINTMENT WHEN THEY DID? 1. NOT MY IDEA OF A 'MINCE PIE' 2. VERY SMALL IN COMPARISON TO OTHERS. THUS NOT COST EFFECTIVE? 3. MY LOCAL BAKERY PRODUCES MUCH BETTER 'REAL' MINCE PIES, AT A LOWER COST? 4. I COULD POSSIBLY HAVE ACCEPTED THE ABOVE. IF THEY HAD LIVED UP TO THIER TV ADVERTISING. IE. THEY HAD TASTED EXCEPTIONAL. BUT WE FOUND THEM QUITE ORDINARY. 5. I DONT KNOW IF THEY WERE EX-CHRISTMAS STOCK. BUT THEY DID NOT TASTE AS 'FRESH; AS EXPECTED. SORRY. F.J.P.”
