“I chose a traditional fruit cake which was topped with cherries and walnuts. However, it was impossiblle to slice as it crumbled. The texture was almost wet. The cake was oversweet. I wouldn't share this cake with friends as it just isn't good enough. Sorry, but that is my honest opinion.”

We send cutting instructions with these cakes as they are very densely packed with nuts and vine fruits and this can make them tricky to cut neatly. “Amazing! Your cakes were served following a service of memorial for my husband. Each cut easily into 12 slices. Everyone thought they were wonderful, you may have a few customers. 60 people enjoyed them, sadly they didn't leave much for me! But Iloved the orange and almond cake. Thank you so much, you certainly helped to make the occasion special. Just wish I lived in the UK so I could join the cake club! I met Meg Rivers at the NEC in Birmingham, an inspiring lady, so glad her inspiration has continued in your company, yoy are worth much more than 5 stars! Well done, I wrish you all every success.”

“I was slightly concerned that the cakes were being sent to us by post. But it all worked beautifully. The cakes were so well packed and protected. We had a wonderful day and the cakes were all eaten with plenty of compliments about the fact that they were very moist. Thank you”
