“After 15 years of our dogs slowly destroying our lawn and the area failing to drain due to extensive building work, we decided to get the lawn re-turfed. I got 6 separate companies to quote. The London Lawn Turf Company were not the cheapest although they were very competitive. However, we decided to go with them as their quote was by far the most comprehensive, so we knew exactly what we were getting. The site is a complicated one because there is no side access meaning everything needed to be taken through the house which frankly made us very nervous. We needn’t have worried. The guys were meticulous with their floor protection and left no mess whatsoever. The process they took us through was exactly as quoted. Removing existing grass and vegetation, rotavating the soil, adding an additional 2 tonnes of soil, fertilising and flattening the ground and finally laying the turf. The two guys were some of the hardest workers I have ever seen. The didn’t stop all day and I was extremely impressed with their professionalism and attention to detail and their tidiness. Despite this movement of tonnes of material back and forth through the house they left it exactly as they found it even cleaning up the pavement and driveway outside the house. I cannot recommend them highly enough. The new grass looks fantastic and is beautifully flat. Really looking forward to using it throughout the year.”

“We are really delighted with our new garden and would thoroughly recommend this company. Our old lawn was overrun with weeds and patchy from our dog digging holes and looked like a wasteland. Now, thanks to the team, it has been transformed with clover turf and is level and green. We also had two patios put in. Ben designed the layout and suggested putting in a half step so that the larger patio blends in seamlessly with the garden and it looks beautiful. Ben, Jay and the team all worked really hard and were professional and knowledgeable about gardens as well as being friendly and pleasant to have around. A big thank you to you all 5 Stars!”

The team were efficient and polite and four men worked hard to get everything done in a day, including helping the delivery truck to load everything over a high garden wall and fence. “We have had an incredibly positive experience with the London Lawn Turf Company. We are selling our house and our estate agents suggested laying turf on a part of the garden (about 6m x 12m) that was a bit of a wasteground. So we wanted turf to be laid in a hurry. They came out to do a site visit a few days after I called, and did the job itself over two days the following week. It was quite a big job, involving breaking up the concrete base of a former greenhouse and removing a lot of garden debris. But the guys worked hard and were cheerful and pleasant throughout. And the result is a real transformation: I will post a photo in a couple of weeks' time which will give a fairer impression. Communication with the office was also excellent, and the skip for waste was removed first thing on the day after the work finished. Overall, I would thoroughly recommend this company.”

“Oh wow and WOW! again!. What a truly wonderful company! After years of moss-kill and endless raking, my lawn just disappeared!?! Grass seed just didn't grow and finally I realised I would have to call in the professionals. I have never heard of this company before but lawns really did seem to be their business. From start to finish the communication and help has been amazing, Emma-May was constantly in touch by email, text and telephone, keeping me up-to date and answering my endless questions. I wasn't sure if I wanted turf or artificial grass but Matt came round (thank goodness he did, my measurements were totally inaccurate!) he gave invaluable help and advice, nothing was too much trouble and he said they would deliver a jumbo bag of gravel and could remove and dispose of an old swing. Matt arrived bang on time for my home -appointment. He provided invoices for both types of lawn. An appointment to lay the lawn was for two weeks later, what a service! Dave and Alex, who laid the lawn were brilliant and went way above and beyond the original task. (Alex you must be a credit to your family, hope you are very proud of yourself!). The pair of them worked tirelessly and cheerfully, up and down steps through a very long corridor with bucket loads of stuff, soil, gravel then rolls of turf, in the rain as well, thank you so very much. The lawn looks lush and green, super-level and makes a huge difference. If I could just get the foxes, cats and squirrels to behave in this helpful way I will be very happy! I am 100% delighted with this company and will be using them again, blimey! they seem to do all-sorts, they can even provide garden lighting and mulching. A HUGE thank you!”
