“Constantly aware of the messy aspect of their work yet they were able to enter a small, expensively furnished property and clear a serious blockage without so much as a drip of waste on a floor . “Mission impossible? Not for London Drainage Nooooooooooo! Our basement was filling with excrement… just as we were about to head off for my partner’s 50th holiday-of-a-lifetime to Machu Picchu, Peru. Only now it looked like we’d have to cancel and forfeit everything. Trying not to sob down the phone, I managed to get four drainage companies out that day for a quote. We instantly knew London Drainage was the right choice. Chris, their engineer, immediately inspired confidence, radiating expertise and calm. He was the only person to give us a step-by-step plan of how our situation would be resolved. Starting with hiring a waste disposal unit to pump out the excrement the following day, so cameras could be put down the drains to diagnose why they’d failed. The next morning everything was done so efficiently I excitedly thought: 'we can get away'. Only to discover that part of our Victorian pipework had collapsed. The pipe was 3 metres underground in our small, enclosed back garden. There was no way for a digger to get in. It would all have to be dug by hand. Our holiday now looked impossible. London Drainage went into overdrive. The very next day we had a team of eight on site, each with different specialities, including reliners, testing to find out the exact location of the pipework and beginning to dig. (Only London Drainage and one other company offered the same level of diagnostic tools before they begun the work; vital to save time and avoid digging up our entire garden.) As it was such a complicated job, Steve Blackmore, the Head of Operations, became our point of contact. He was excellent, assigning extra people to the job to get it completed as fast as possible. But we knew we’d have to accept the inevitable: we just weren’t going to be able to get away. If it wasn't for London Drainage we'd have had to cancel. In conjunction with our friends who were cat sitting, they persuaded us we had to go and they would make it possible. We were reluctant because, in the past, we’ve always personally supervised builders. But London Drainage inspired us with so much confidence we left them to it. Thanks to them – and our friends – being so amazing we were able to go on our trip of a lifetime. When we came back, our garden was also put back together… a special thank you for Gary who did such a great job. In fact, the whole team at London Drainage from the reliners to the engineers to the supervisor to Steve and also Linda in accounts were incredible. As you can no doubt tell reading this, I am highly grateful for London Drainage and can’t recommend them enough. They accomplished a Mission Impossible and made sure my partner’s 50th wasn’t ruined and I am very grateful. Thank you so much everyone. You rock.”

“Easy to arrange with prompt and polite service from beginning to end. Dean was professional and dealt efficiently and calmly with the problem, doing a thorough job and taking care to leave things as he found them. He also offered sound and practical advice as to how we might stop the problem reoccurring. Would definitely use again - although hopefully not too soon!”
