“It's a big responsibility for family members to suddenly or promptly get finance over £5,000.00 for funeral expenses. Which I wouldn't want to burden my family with at all. I'm happy to be able to be independent all my life so why leave families in stress because in Hindu's its not only one final expense. There are so many rituals to do, call all families over, like over 100 people for 12 days and feed them too. It costs alot, than after 11months another religious rite is done. In which once again over 100 people are called over and fed, the priest is given alms with money from time of 11 days to 11 month rite. On top in Old age homes food is taken X 3 the 1st year with donations too. Honestly it's too much to go through. Every year in the month of mourning for ancestors X2 again food and donations go separately for parents and God forbid for kids who go before parents. Leave with giving your family peace and tranquility please. All insurance companies should pay out without any cheating please too.”
