“I have not been able to connect my lifeline equipment as my daughter was going to do that for me, but in view of the virus and isolation we have decided it is not worth the risk of her coming into my house to do the connection. I am looking forward to having this security, but unless you can think of what I can do it will have to stay in the box.”

“This was bought and installed for a 70 year old relative.
Ordered on day 1 - delivered on day 2. Excellent.
Installation was as follows:
1. Unbox
2. Plug in the power supply
3. Plug telephone cable into a telephone socket
4. Test - by pressing the "Help" button
Its SO easy to install and use.
Don't worry about losing a telephone as the alarm unit AND an existing telephone can share the same socket - a line splitter is supplied for this purpose.
I tested the alarm several times and I was suprised by how friendly the call handlers sounded - something my relative also commented on. To be honest, if you're face down on the carpet needing help you are probably not going to assess how friendly someone sounds. However, if a friendly sounding voice = compassion and empathy then the call handlers have this in buckets. I liked that and made me feel re-assured that in an emergency it would be dealt with promptly.
I feel this was, without any doubt, one of the best decisions my relative has made in years, to aid in her independant lifestyle whilst having a discreet 24hr helpline available.
