“It was my first experience of purchasing something from The Kilt Society following a recommendation by one of my friends. They made it so easy to buy from them. Everything was so efficient plus my purchase was available to collect the next day. Would thoroughly recommend The Kilt Society to anyone looking for a kilt outfit .... and will definitely use them again for other accessories which I need.”

“Service excellent as I picked up the trews from the warehouse the day after placing the order. Emails responded to very quickly. Only concern is the fit of the trews at the back. The rear end was very tight in spite of getting the largest waist size possible. I have had some alteration made which has helped but it still felt a bit tight.”

Hey Alan, Thanks for letting me know. We have altered the design of these trews recently to have a straighter more tapered fit in the seat/leg. It's interesting to see your feedback on this not being great for you. I do hope that with alterations you'll get good use of these. ~Rachel

Hi Gordon, Thanks for your review, I'm pleased you found our service to be good. I noticed your address was in Norway, but also that no VAT was charge. To keep things simple we just charge one price for our items. Where this is shipped within the EU we'll cover VAT and where this is shipped outside of the EU we cover any duties and taxes where they apply. Apologies if there were any confusion. Your invoice however should be correct displaying no VAT. Give me a shout if you have any questions ~Rachel

“We had such a wonderful and friendly service from Stephen, who was very helpful and gave us good advice and guidance in putting the whole outfit together. Communication was prompt and any questions we had were answered patiently and to the point. Daniel was very proud on the day of his prom.”

“I've ordered a few things now all have arrived on time and for the price very good, the casual kilt is big for its size ie a 34 36 is a 36 and doesn't look out of place next to a traditional wool kilt. The kids kilt belts are easy to adjust and quite soft leather, the cheap sgian dubh is smaller than standard but again great for younger kids.”

“The web page gave a precise and accurate description of my kilt. I will be undertaking a 400 mile walk through Portugal and Spain in two months, much of it I plan to do in my KS kilt: comfort and good air flow for the happy trekker. A more fulsome review would be more appropriate post walking. Hopefully all smiley faces.”
