I was persuaded to have a longer cut than I wanted, on reflection I am not happy with this. It is my hair, I think I should be able to have it how I want.

Ok, so overall I'm happy with the haircut and it's been my third visit but I think you need to seriously improve on the customer service. The language some of the staff members use to speak to the customers is just out of place. It's embarrassing really. Plus I'd made an appointment and upon the arrival i was told it wasn't on the system so had to wait an hour just so someone could squeeze me in. Again, I like your hairdressers but people behind the reception desk and other helpers need improvement.

Although time was taken for a hair consultation the price I was quoted on the phone was not upheld and I had to pay a higher charge. Also the salon could do with some TLC the cleaning is very much below standard with dirty mirrors, particularly the lower half, and unwashed skirting boards.

Dear Mary Thank you for telling us about your appointment. We'll be in touch to speak to you about the price, in case we overcharged by accident. We'll take on board your comments about cleaning - that's important! We do have a problem with the design of some of the styling positions at Bicester, which allow hair to fall into the bottom section below the mirror. Recently my experience has gone from very good to normal based on my hairdresser not asking what I wanted at the start.

Kelly was really nice and chatty, and did it good job on my cut and blow dry. I have had a few issues styling it since which I am sure is more down to my lack of styling skills than anything else. I would say that the salon is in need of a bit of a revamp. the crockery that I was served my drink in was chipped and discoloured, and the salon in general looks like it is in need of some TLC. Of course, this doesn't reflect on the styling just the atmosphere of the salon.

Hi Tegeirian Thanks for your feedback and I'm glad you are pleased with your cut and blow dry. You are absolutely right, the chipped cup should definitely not have been used, thanks for pointing that out! We completely refurbished the salon in Feb. 2013 so it sounds like, from the clients perspective, we need to do some decorating! This sort of comment is very valuable, so many thanks. The grey hair cover by brush is not effective the only thing it covered was my sclap not hair, would not recommend.

Hi, I have my hair cut by Anne. When I first started coming I felt that I wasn't having my hair cut in such a rush. She gave me time to talk about styles, my hair type etc. The last but one time, she went off to answer the phone & have a conversation with a client while I was still in the chair & then I was late for an appointment after. The last time I came she was colouring another clients hair & I had to wait for half an hour to have my hair cut. I was on time incidently. She left the client & cut my hair in 12 minutes & then returned to her other client. Anne gives me a good cut & that's why I have pressed "normal", However, I felt last time that I had booked her for half an hour & didn't get her full attention.
