“I hadn't had my hair cut professionally in years - just let it grow long and lopped a couple of inches off the ends now and then. Though my husband had cut my hair once in lockdown (and did a great job), I couldn't persuade him to again - he recommended I try Anne Veck based on the reviews. I got an appointment for the same day, with Elyia, for a cut and blow dry. All I knew was I wanted it bobbed and shorter so that it was tidier. The salon is really nicely presented, and the stylists are so friendly and welcoming. Covid safety was well practised and it felt effortless and safe. Elyia asked if he could add a bit of creative flair with my haircut, and didn't raise an eyebrow when I confessed that the time and effort I spend on styling my hair is minimal. I don't scrub up well, so tend to opt for 'it's clean so it's done' as my personal style ethos! He worked a real miracle with an amazing eye for design, great skill, and innovation. The result is incredible and I love it - I'd hoped for a quick few inches chopped and fewer tangles to contend with in the mornings, the result was something that is completely me, and captures my personality perfectly. I will definitely be back in future - I've been converted!”

“This visit had been my first visit to Anne Veck. It was a very pleasant experience. They are very covid-safe. All staff are very welcome. I had my hair done by Sylvah who was very kind and done an excellent job. Well-worth the visit.”

“My first time at Anne Veck was today and it certainly lived up to and exceeded my expectations. I had a great hair cut by Nicola who gave great advice about my hair (that I completely agreed with!) but also listened to make sure it was exactly as I wanted. All the products used on my hair were eco-friendly and I really love that the company support sustainability.”

“I was very happy with my cut done by Nicola. She spent a nice length of time chatting to me to make sure we were on the same page for what I was looking for. She also checked in with me to make sure I was happy with what she was doing and I felt confident about the cut the entire time. A great experience, as usual, at Anne Veck. Would highly recommend.”

“Been coming to Anne Veck for 4 years. Unpretentious, professional, fantastic haircuts and colours. Lots of compliments. Sian did my hair yesterday, very talented lady. I don’t think it’s expensive, compared to places I’ve been before. And they always give you a quote so you aren’t surprised. Good news Afro hairdresser arriving this month. My daughter in law is moving here. 🤗🤗”

“Just heard that Desmond Murray will be joining the Anne Veck team from 20th October. Incredible news , he's a 5 times British Hairdressing Awards Winner and one of UK's best afro hairdressers and men's hairdressers! Can't wait to have him cut my hair. (spoiler alert : I'm Anne's partner but he really is that good).”

“I had the most spoiling morning with Sylvain cutting my hair, he worked wonders on hair that was heavy, dead and generally unhappy. It is now 100x lighter, glossier and I left with a spring in my step! The salon itself is fantastic filled with lovely people and incredible natural products.”
