“Can't review as an insurance company until we need to claim!! However the process of phonong etc was very quick and easy and the woman dealing with our purchase was very good, polite, clear and efficient. So far so good!!”

Dear Caroline, thank you for your feedback. Further to our recent correspondence, as advised we are governed by what our insurers will and will not accept in respect of providing cover for flood, the decision is out of our hands. Unfortunately your Holiday Let falls within a very small percentage of UK properties where the insurers who underwrite the Holiday Let policy are not prepared to offer flood cover, as they see the risk too great. I believe you will have found the same feedback from other insurers. Your insurers do regularly update areas and addresses in respect of flood risk, therefore if this does change in the future we will of course let you know.

“Operators were polite and informative, especially the male one but sorry I can't remember his name. The lady one was a bit short when having to explain the need for items I didn't want (details below) probably, I thought, because she knew they were unjustifiable but her job required her to put a positive spin on them. So - only real problem is paying for insurance I don't need, ie cover for domestic staff or don't want, ie public liability - these are part of the bundle and although described as 'free', we all know that no insurance is free and I hate the thought of subsidising insurance for people rich enough to have domestic staff!! So I think these items should be de-bundled and that there should be more realistic options tailored to what the client actually wants.”

Thank you for taking the time to give us feedback. We appreciate there is sometimes standard features on a policy which might not be useful to some customers. However, circumstances can change throughout the period of the insurance where some features may then become useful.
