“We are a busy Community Building which houses over 30 different charities. Day to day our centre management team are constantly on call to respond to issues in the building which makes having time out for conventional training very difficult. We elected to go down the e-learning route for our fire safety as this was a very convenient and efficient way of ensuring staff have the right knowledge to meet legal requirements. “We are happy with the training for fire awareness and fire marshals. We have now introduced the training as part of our induction process for new staff. Our policy is to ensure staff refresh their fire awareness training every three years. I have asked if this can be changed on our certificates but this has not been done yet. The administration of the course is easy to understand.”
