Taste is, of course, very personal, and whilst many of our customers enjoy the rich, savoury flavour, we completely appreciate that it won't be for everyone. Our Bone Broth is made using free-range chicken bone broth and is slowly simmered before being transformed into a convenient powdered format, making it quick and easy to enjoy at home or on the go. 🙌 As mentioned, alongside the quality of the ingredients we use, this contributes to the overall cost of the product. If you prefer a less salty taste, we recommend diluting each sachet in 1000ml of water, instead of the standard 750ml. “Thoroughly enjoy my collagen from H&G and the simplicity of using the sachets, however I have been left disappointed recently having been left almost 2 months without any collagen as a result of a stock issue. The communication around this was very poor and it was left to me to contact H&G online after my subscription didn’t arrive as planned. Had this been communicated earlier I could have made a switch to the bag instead or H&G could have automatically sent me the bag as a temporary measure so I wouldn’t be without. As a result of this it means that I have also lost out on rewards points which I enjoy receiving and using against my subscription cost. Hopefully, this won’t happen again but if it does I hope there is a contingency plan in place.”

“Mayonnaise is great. Sadly, Customer Service not so great. When opening the package one of the jars had broken. I left to voice message on their answering machine twice to get in touch to me, they haven’t done. Also sent an email and still no reply !!! Not impressed.”

“The ketchup I love…but the postage being as much as the ketchup almost makes it unaffordable. I will try and find it elsewhere to buy but I can’t justify over £3 for postage.”

“My third pack of the the bovine collagen was disappointing it has an unpleasant smell that reminds me of gone off milk. I’d hoped when mixed in with a drink it would disappear but unfortunately every time I take a drink I can smell it, its quite strong and unpleasant. I haven’t left a bad review because I hope it’s just a one off that you will rectify”

Our collagen is unflavoured however there can be slight differences from batch to batch due to the natural nature of the product and seasonality. The collagen can also smell stronger on the initial opening of the bag, and this normally dissipates quite quickly. Our customer services team will be in touch to see if we can help further. Thank you so much Vicky for your review we are so sorry that you have not enjoyed adding the Rise & Glow into your daily routine. Thank you for trying to stick with the taste. It has a light flavour which isn’t overly sweet or bitter. The berries mask any flavour of the collagen and the hibiscus brings a slight floral undertone. Bitterness from the Acerola berry brings an almost citrus freshness and it’s best served with ice or ice cold water, however understand if it isn't for you. “The avocado mayonnaise was a little too sgaro for my taste. Usually i buy vegan mayonnaise and only rarely eat it as mayonnaise is very rich. Whilstbi could taste avocado, which i love, i could not get past the almost vinegery aftertaste.”

“Products are terrific. 5 stars. Customer service is usually excellent. 5 stars. E commerce site is the worst I have ever come across. It is difficult to use, not customer friendly and causes more stress in my household than anything else. My husband, an IT professional, has never seen anything so user unfriendly. Take away ALL the stars.”

“I ordered the Bovine Collagen Peptides. I tried it in my morning coffee and was disappointed as I could definitely smell and taste it in my coffee and couldn't finish it. I am going to try it in a cold drink instead and see how I get on or maybe in some yoghurt. Hopefully this will be better.”

We can recommend an RRP to our stockists however they might be doing offers or it can depend of the size of the jars. We offer free UK shipping on all orders over £30 and you earn Thrive Rewards on every order which go towards discount codes which can be redeemed again a future order. I’m aware there are other of meat products slaughtered in this way but I still don’t agree with it so as I am now aware of it, (you seem very keen to promote this aspect of your products) I’ll no longer buy them!
