“The mayonnaise has great ingredients. However I personally did not like the Avocado Oil Mayo, I think it was just too rich. The Chipotle Mayo was my favourite. All low sugar which is good.”

“Fab olive oil based products. Even better if eco-unfriendly avocado oil based items were switched to an olive oil base as well. Best of all would be an olive oil brown sauce of course - "HG Sauce" perhaps?!”

Thank you Andrew for your fabulous review of our olive oil products. To reassure you the avocados we use to make our Extra Virgin Avocado Oil, we buy from small-scale farmers in Kenya. These farmers have a small number of trees and they work together in a Coop to support each other. Jeff and Amy the co-founders of Hunter & Gather visited these farmers and saw from start to finish the growing, caring, and pressing of the avocados to make the oil. “I like the sustainability of the packaging and company ethos. be nice to see mor eplant based options. good rewards on orders. Menat I could get £5 off after only a fe worders, very helpful and encourage sme to continuing shopping with the company. It woudl be good if repeat orders went out a couple of days early sp they arrive when you run out, finding a big gap between finishing months supply and recieving next supply because of the slow mail delivery (frustarting)”

“Love the products! Only thing I would love is if we got a tracking link so we can make sure someone is home as it was a total surprise when it arrived and we were out for the day, took another 5 days to rearrange delivery from Parcelforce.”

“Their products are very good but I do have some comments. The MCT bottle is too tall! Please make a shorter bottle so it fits in a standard wall cupboard. Your garlic Avo mayo is absolutely delicious, but £16 for a large jar is prohibitively expensive.”

“All the products are great but the web site is far from simple to use. Getting rid of the Thrive rewards sticker which is constantly on the screen would be a good move and having one menu which includes the Log Out a good move too.”

“Love the oil dressings and mayo. Would like to think I’d be brave enough to try making your recipes myself. Love your newsletters with all the info on health and recipes. I’m new to this style of healthy living and chose the Keto lifestyle because my husband is type 2 diabetic. After 4 weeks of trial and error his blood sugar has dropped dramatically and even he believes this could work. We will continue and look forward to your support.”

“I bought the introductory pack, and so far have tried the avocado mayonnaise, the ketchup, the BBQ sauce and the avocado oil. The mayonnaise is very nice, with good consistently and taste. I would say it's as good as any other brand or supermarket mayonnaise I've tasted. The ketchup is good - it has a full savoury tomato flavour which compensates for the lack of sweetness. I've used it with bacon, eggs, etc. and it works just fine. The BBQ sauce is probably my least favourite so far. It's definitely smokey but I suppose I waa expecting something closer to a brown sauce, which it isn't. However, I did add some to a no bean chili and it added a pleasant smokey flavour. In frying the mince, onions and peppers for the chilli, I did use the avocado oil, but didn't notice any especial flavour or difference from it. My overall thought with these and other keto products is that they are all relatively expensive, as you're paying for the convenience of these ready made replacements. The pack is better value but I'm not sure I can afford to buy these products on a regular basis.”
