“For starters.. We wish to inform future Kiwi and Aussie customers, that the company Campervan Tours owned and managed by ***, is 100% genuine. We could not have found a more honest , upfront , obliging person with outstanding comunication as *** has been. His crew *** were extremely welcoming and informative and on time with delivery and collection of the camper van We would have had no hesitation in awarding 5 stars as far as *** and his company Motorhome Tours goes, regarding honesty and committment. \n However we regretably have given 4 stars for the following reason.\nWe hoped to rent a camper van from *** to tour the UK. *** was extremely upfront and said he had none available as they had all been rented out. *** contacted us and said he was prepared to build a new camper for us which would be ready in 3 months. *** kept his word and had not even seen the camper when we picked it up at Heathrow.The Ford Transit was 100% reliable, comfortable to drive and economical over the 2 month period. HOWEVER Being the first users of the new camper conversion, we expected the possibility of a few teething problems. We were disappointed there were numerous constructions and layout problems. We informed *** during our travels. *** immediately went out of his way to correct some of the problems and we knew he would put the other problems in order once we returned the van ready for the next renters.People who are concerned they may not get their security bond back need not worry if you have kept your part of the deal. *** refunded our bond, and our out of pocket expenses the very next day.after returning the van. \nWe would have absolutely no hestitation in recommending *** and his crew and company Camper Van Tours. to potential renters. \nWould we rent again from ***. ......CERTAINLY”

“Great people to deal with. Could not do enough for us. Their little "extras" in the van made life far easier when travelling. The campervan was in excellent condition. Would thoroughly recommend this company for your campervan holiday.”

“I don't give 5 star ratings lightly, but in this case its well deserved.\n Apart from an immaculate turned out vehicle and the little extras like a mobile phone and a well thought out kitchen utensil package, the service we received from *** was way and beyond above expectations.\n\nA big fat 10/10”

“awesome little van (vw t5), simple as to setup and use. nav and phone options are a big winner.\nkesh did an awesome job with hand over and final return, super easy to get along with, and even dropped uss and all our gear off at the train station.\ncheers”

“We hired the small campervan, travelled around Europe and UK for 4 months. We had a fabulous time, this campervan was easy to drive and the mattress was hard but we got it used and slept well almost every night. Biggest issue was the deep cycle battery, it doesn't stay full very long, approx 10mins.\nCustomers service were excellent service, they would response quickly when issues arise. \nWe would hire them again”

“From the time of contacting Campervantours for information through to payment for the hire all went smoothly. Emails were answered quickly. \nThe two staff members we dealt with while picking up and returning the van were excellent with great sense of humour. If we ever return to the UK for a holiday we would use their services again”

“The logic of the storage areas could be improved and maybe a few cardboard boxes could be provided for the storage under the back seats (we organised some from the local supermarket), so the items don't slide around while driving. However, the car was clean and well equipped, the LED lights excellent, so there are no complaints here. The location of the water canister is a little hard to access, but again, this is very minor. Just as feedback to you. The van was in excellent condition, and drove well. Your customer service was excellent, second to none! I would highly recommend your company and service. Maybe a little better information on how to meet your staff at the train station early in the dealings as we did not receive the email with *** phone contacts. But all went well at the end!”

“Hard to find fault, however for long term hire, a change of linen would be nice, hard to wash and dry sheets in a days travel. Plus bigger towels would be appreciated.\nA small picnic table would have been useful too.\nThat's all we can find fault in.\nThe entire experience was fantastic from the booking, requested information, the delivery of the van and pickup. The quality of the camper was great.\nA Fantastic holiday, more than happy to recommend Campervan Tours to anyone.\nA great experience. Thank you!”

“use plastic wear for crockery, it wont rattle as much when driving over rough roads, makes for less stress. the rattling gets on ones nerves after a while.”

“Good company to deal with. We hired a camper for a holiday trip to the UK. We were picked up and driven to get the camper. The camper was in great condition, ready to use,with everything we required. Being over seas visitors, it was great that bedding, towels etc were included. The staff were professional and friendly, we got what we paid for. My only comment was that it took nearly two weeks to receive our bond back, but it was paid in full, and without issue.”

“I would highly recommend campervan tours to anyone who needs to hire this type of vehicle. The best fuel economy, the best service with the pick up and drop off at the airport, and the easiest vehicle to drive with free places to stay all over the uk. I have hired from two companies and this one is definitely the better of the two. I really can't recommend them highly enough and wouldn't hesitate in hiring from them again.”

“Our experience with Campervan Tours was faultless. Booking the campervan, taking delivery, and returning the van was trouble free and the staff were very helpful and friendly. Overall our 4000 mile adventure around England, Scotland, and England was an amazing experience in our little van.”

“I don't know why these places are not on *** when they are so special! I am a single mum on a budget and I absolutely had to explore places that could not be reached by train, and this was the way to go. You've your full accommodation nightly, can go where you please,such easy driving in these stable smooth cars, great beds and cooking facilities and TV to boot! We also had a shower and loo. Now I, not having driven anything other than a small Hyundai, was pretty damned worried, esp as your UK roads are much thinner than our Aussie ones, but I was settled in 15 minutes and cruising along like I owned the thing in 20! We were able to book in to some sites ahead of time as I'd worked out a pretty full itinerary, but others, right on Easter, we were able to ring from an hr away, and this van, only about a foot longer than a long delivery van, was accepted everywhere. We easily even parked at ***, service points etc. My campervan was the Tribute 670, auto/manual, and of course diesel run, 600 miles to a tank, and we were on the road for three weeks and over 9,000 miles. The two back couches turned into a wonderfully comfy double bed and we kept it like that and simply sat up front in the swivel driver and passenger chair to sit at the table or watch TV. Three powers - elec, gas and battery, and the leisure battery of course ran the fridge and stuff when it had to. We were supplied initial introductory wifi, but that didn't last long as I uploaded lots of photos, . When lights on you had the TV and dimmer lights back beds, and our gas tank was still full after three weeks - I used it a lot for cuppas and about half the trip cooking or reheating food. Plenty of space to store stuff. Food up front, clothes down the back, and me never using one before found everything easy! The toilet, I liked it, not an issue, easy to empty, not as disgusting as I thought it would be, water tank - hint, fill regularly or take a book to read while you fill an empty tank - easy, and what else is there? Nothing, just bliss in the road and value for money! I'd recommend a couple of tea towels and a towel for shower floor, but the moveable toilet and sink are brilliant, and space under bed/couches in back also good. I'm actually waiting to hear from the owner as to how I can get one secondhand sent to me here in Oz cos they're four times the price here and I loved this van! If I can drive it, anyone can. I want to say too that *** who met us and helped us, was and is divine, he connects so well and has a wonderful affable, friendly and helpful manner. Brilliant! One more tip if you don't know the UK well, Cornwall roads are tight so be careful, and western roads gave tiny gutters/kerbs that if you knock you'll skid off and can slide, rather than just bump away from. Saw it happen to cars ahead of us and happened to myself and it's effing scary, esp if a car is coming the other way, so watch the western roads, Devon, Cornwall, and Plymouth areas. Everywhere else absolutely fine. Loved my Tribute, loved the company, loved the assistance. Thank you *** and ***. You made it a wonderful way to travel. Now can you do something about my horrendous jet lag?”

“Firstly a big thanks to *** and *** for their expert hand over and hand back and *** for his professionalism.\nWe chose Campervantours primarily because they offered a "no hidden extras" van hire.\nThe whole experience far exceeded our expectations bearing in mind we had never done anything like this before.\nThe van was a 2015 VW TD5 auto.\nIt was spotless and did not miss a beat for the whole 3 and half weeks. We covered, absolutely stress free, over 2000 miles.\nThe couple of times we contacted *** with questions, he responded immediately and answered our query. We were so impressed that we extended our hire for two days while on the road. This was made very easy for us to arrange. \nWe are already planning a return trip to the UK next year and will definitely be hiring a camper van from these guys again.\n*** and ***\n***\n”
