“Very disappointing experience from Heylo. Amazing product range which I would have likely purchased from again and again but I paid for fast delivery 10 days ago and I'm still waiting.....the logistics company they use are awful. They aparrently tried on Friday to deliver but as there was no one in they were going to try the next day, I added an instruction on the courier's website that they can leave in my shed in case they came back the next day. Saturday rolled round and no e-mail to say they were trying to redeliver that day, Sunday came and randomly I DID get a redelivery notification that my parcel was to be delivered today...were now at 22:19 and the tracking advises that the item was been out for delivery since 11 this morning.
I originally ordered over a week ago with fast delivery, Heylo then refunded the delivery fee as they'd aparrently sold out of bread that week. It would be really great for customers if at this point they can advise either sold out or preorder only.
I would have preferred they didn't refund the delivery fee initially and got my things to me quicker when they came back into stock.
It's a shame as there were so many things I wanted to try from their website, but as the majority of the products require a degree of freshness given that it is bread, I would be reluctant to order again and have to wait almost 2 weeks for delivery, when I'd initially paid for 1-2 day postage.”

Very sorry to hear that you have had a terrible experience getting your order delivered to you. We try very hard to offer excellent customer service, but the recent delivery issues are very much out of our control. We can't use Royal Mail due to their continuous strikes, and DPD has advised that they have a huge back log due to the terrible recent weather and also everyone switching to use them as no Royal Mail.
We will always refund or send out replacement items if they arrive not fresh due to delayed delivery times, and our customer service team are very quick at getting back to our customers to advise of any issues.
Once again, very sorry that you have not had our usual 1st class Heylo experience and if you do decide to order from us again in the new year just send us an email prior and we will happily add in a few extra goodies!

We do try and make our items as affordable as possible so everyone can benefit, but unfortunately, low carb ingredients are a lot more expensive than regular ingredients :(.
