“The courses are informative and keep me updated with current legislation. The end part of each course though - it is not clear if you have completed it and it is recorded? I got notifications to tell me that I had not started a course. It would be good to get one that showed me I had completed a course especially as we are working remotely. I have not received a certificate for IOSH yet although the project and final assessment was completed successfully.”

Many thanks for your feedback Julia. The email that contained the link to provide this review explained hat we'd recommened you for a pass and that your esults had been provided to IOSH. In addition to that, the person that set up the course will get a seperate notification on their dashboard as soon as our recommendation is agreed by IOSH and that the certificate has been issued by IOSH. I hope that helps.

“Great budget service compared to other IOSH course providers. A bit too simplistic and maybe not in depth as much as needed plus a few typos in some presentations. Saying that, the web portal is very easy to use and gives you all the information you need to progress in what you want. Would recommend it for what it is!”

Many thanks for your feedback. We do try to keep the messaging simple in order to aid retention of the information. Where appropriate, we provide references to where further information can be obtained should it be required. You’ll appreciate that different people have different views when it comes to the level of detail they like to see. “I found the course very informative and interesting. However in some parts it was heavy going and a little too much to take in (the law section) but a necessary evil to pass the course.”

Thank you Elaine for your feedback. It can be quite difficult to get the balance right when it comes to the way the law works and how it relates to the subject. But hopefully you'll see the relevence of to your work so that the effort was worthwhile.

“The provided course is enough to understand about basic health and safety procedures, specially course has focused on Risk Assessment Control. you need to read all modules to understand and pass the assessments. personal view I think it will be much more better if there will be videos too for explanation.”

Thank you for your feedback Nurbu. We have experimented with videos but we have found them to be unreliable when students have poor internet connections or when they are using mobile devices. We do keep it under review though and we will take that on board when we think the time is right.

“I've done many online courses before and many of them seem pointless, especially when you get asked the same question 3 times in the final exam! This course however felt different to the rest. It actually felt like I was learning things...which helps!”

“I completed the ISOH Managing Safely v5.0 online course, the presentations were interactive and gave everything you need to pass the end of course test & prepare you for the risk assessment project at the end. As an MD, I always complete the courses I expect my team to carry out, and I will be using HSQE going forward for the production team.”
