“The Vitalskills, IOSH - Managing Safely course, was a well-constructed and thorough online training. There were a few minor bugs in the slides which meant some information wasn't communicated but I imagine this is easily resolved by HSQE. Overall though, great value and a must for anyone in management.”

“The online course was easy to follow and user friendly. More insight into the assessment and project in advance would have been useful. The lady I spoke to when I called was very friendly and able to answer all my questions. Would recommend this course”

Thank you for your feedback. There is no problem if you want to discuss the exercises with your tutor, it is just that you do not need to formally send them to us for assessment.

“This was a very indepth, challenging course, covering everything you need to know, with modules relating to each specific area. The course is set out very easy to use and folow, with support being available if needed, with a generous time frame, to fit in with my busy working day, as it's an online study course. I would recommend this course to anyone wanting to add to their skill set”

“I thought the course was overall good but I have some criticisms. There was a lot of text and reading. This made the course quite heavy going and in places hard to digest. The best parts were the use of video and the interactive parts (choosing answers, dragging words over images etc.) as this was engaging and helped me remember and I think more of this kind of learning should be incorporated into the course material. It was also not very clear which parts of the course were presented as supporting information and which parts we were required to learn by heart. Some of the multiple-choice answers I felt weren't specifically covered in the course material (specifically the ones I got wrong!) I thought the project part was good because this forced me to put into practice some of the principles that I had learned rather than just cramming for the multiple-choice exam. I thought it was a worthwhile course though.”

“The content was good and the course was easy to follow. My only small criticism would be the final exam and it not being clear if I had passed or failed and it not being clear about the final assessment.”

Thank you Nicky for your feedback. We do have instructions at the beginning of the course and then detailed instructions immediately before the assessment and project. But we'll take a look again though to see if we can signpost them any better.
