It was our anniversary day but the bouquet for my wife never arrived. In contacting Homeland Florists they answered that the flowers were sent to the wrong address!! How incompetent can that be. This, of course, proved a huge disappointment toward effecting the pleasure expectancies on the day. A star is required and this only rated for arranging a refund!

Extremely disappointed. I spent £65 on a dozen blue roses to be delivered to my mother as I am abroad. These were not delivered, instead they sent white with a few blue that I could have ordered on interflorist for less than half the price. When I contacted them they claimed it was due to bad weather and they couldn't get through to me, yet they were quick to respond to me when I requested a refund. They have refused a refund despite not sending what I paid for. I will be reporting this company to Trading Standards.

Thank you for your review. We acknowledge that we couldn't supply you with 12 blue roses on the date required. We had a fresh delivery of roses from Holland, but due to the extreme freezing weather we did not deem them suitable to send out, as they had been damaged by the cold. We did send 6 blue roses and 6 white roses as we was unable to contact you via phone or email after multiple attempts. We have later learnt this is due to you working overseas. As we did not want to ruin the birthday surprise we took it upon ourselves to send the substitute bouquet. (photo added that you sent us). We offered to send another 12 blue roses which you declined. We have also issued a full refund which can up to 10 working days depending on your card issuer. I'm sorry if you still feel this way after we thought the issue was resolved.

Order flowers 3 days in advance for delivery on a Sunday for someone's birthday. Offers 7 day delivery. Everything booked and paid for. Phoned around lunch time just to see if I could have an idea of a time window as person I'm question was going out at 3pm. Was told can't give a time as they have lots of funerals to do on a Sunday but would be there before 3. Flowers undelivered and finally arrive a day late. If you can't actually do 7 day delivery why advertise it! Will not be using again. This was a birthday gift you totally ruined.

I ordered a bouquet for my wife’s birthday, specifically asking for it to be delivered anytime before mid day as we were going out. It hadn’t arrived by 12.30 so had to chase it up. It seems that they hadn’t informed their own delivery driver that it needed to be delivered before mid day, causing a lot of unnecessary stress and angst. If you couldn’t fulfil the ‘timed’ delivery then you should have said so at the time of ordering. Such a shame though as the flowers were lovely but certainly won’t be using this florist ever again.

I've always used Homelands for years for all flowers and special occasions and always found them to be excellent quality and value for money. However I moved further away making it difficult to collect and decided to order online for Mothers Day. What a mistake! I ordered the £29.99 bouquet and was bitterly disappointed with the delivery. I can only assume the online orders are out-sourced as there were a very small bunch of very cheap flowers (mainly chrysanthemums) that didn't even fill a small vase. Also, most of the heads were broken or damaged (despite the box being in tact so I can only guess they were packaged like this). If I had walked into the shop £20 would have bought a huge colourful bouquet with twice as many beautiful flowers. If you cannot visit in person then forget the online delivery. It would have been so much better to pick up a bunch of £10-£15 flowers from a local supermarket. Don't waste your money.

Terrible service. Ordered flowers+package online and phoned on Sat to confirm order had been accepted and would be delivered on Sunday (Mother's Day). Flowers did not arrive today, and have had no contact from them to explain. Trying to support local businesses, but will not be using this florist again. BE WARNED!

Emailed them to arrange some flowers and after a couple of emails (the last one being them asking roughly how much I'm looking to spend so they can put something together) and me letting them know they just stopped replying to emails. Seems very unreliable and not grate at communication

ordered on 27 Dec 2020 requested delivery on 30 Dec for a birthday. not delivered until the 31 st. offered a second bouquet by way of compensation. they were delivered on 8 Jan 2021. We expected that to be the same type of flowers as the original order. ie lilies. only 3 lilies among the bunch. the white roses were brown and withering. The other white flowers were the same, dropping petals. offered a discount on next 5 orders. Am I likely to order again, I do not think so

Came in poor condition! Half the heads shrivelled and damaged! Really poor quality! Do not buy from here!

Ordered flowers on the 10th Feb for the 13th February which was confirmed to me. I have now received a message saying they will not be delivered until the 14th which is no use to me what so ever Do not trust this company when they say the date of delivery. Very angry and unhappy

On the Amazon site it said "free next day delivery". In fact they did not arrive until 2 days later. Reason given by amazon was that my bank had not cleared the payment until later in the day (rubbish - I paid by credit card). Reason given by Homeland Florists that they had a 2.00 p.m. cut off point. Nowhere did they say this. I would NEVER use them again. Very unsatisfactory.

When ordering a floral tribute I was most specific about the colour scheme and particular flowers I wished to have. The actual tribute bore little or no resemblance to that ordered, which has left me feeling I have not paid my proper respects to the deceased. I will not use them again.

If you are happy then all is fine. However if you have an issue do not expect any customer service at all. I emailed twice and also wrote a follow up letter regarding my disappointment, never received so much as an acknowledgement! Finally wrote to the director Laura Hutchings whose personal mantra states "As the Company Director, I am steadfast in my commitment to maintaining the core morals of our family’s business - dedicated to ensuring that each and every customer of ours receives the best customer service experience and value" - NO RESPONSE!

Had made my order for some flowers The drive placed them on my door step and left them there came home to find the flowers were not there Emails was sent and all i got was well i would be surprised if they had gone missing from a royal air force base I am not out of pocket and with no flowers This is why i gave a 1 star rating

I ordered the £30 Lily bouquet for Mothers Day, the flowers sent were not as described on the web site. There were 7 stems of lily's and the rest were yellow weed like flowers. Thank you for spoiling my mums Mother Day surprise I will not buy for you again,

So they said I'd have a refund for the bouquet that didn't arrive Mothers Day and as I predicted it's now Tuesday and no refund! How I wish I'd used Margaret Mason now!

I live in Australia and thought it would be nice to send my Mother flowers for Mother's Day. Ordered online and was informed they would be delivered on 11th March. No flowers turned up. Absoluty disgusted. Thanks for spoiling Mother's Day.

They've ruined Mothers Day today! I've been in tears! I rang them this afternoon after visiting my Mum expecting her to be all smiles because of the lovely bouquet I'd ordered to be delivered on the day but the only flowers there where a beautiful bouquet by Interflora Margaret Mason in Preston from my brother! Talk about the shame! I'd read their good reviews and thought I was in safe hands. What was worse was their bad attitude on the phone when I rang them. Sorry is not good enough! They actually made out I should feel sorry for them and said they were really upset too as were a lot 9f their customers and firmly put the blame on their couriers who cited snow and back log????? It's been a week without snow now so couldn't they have let Homelands know before today??? Bad bad services and no offer of compensation! They said they'd upgrade the delivery to get it to my Mum tomorrow! No thanks! Now I'm waiting for my refund Let's see if they let me down with this too! They've told me only 24 hours.
