“Very pleased with our Christmas rooster! Lovely and tender with a gorgeous flavour. The ordering process was simple and the package arrived as arranged. However, the fact that the package was left on my doorstep in full view of the street, without a knock on the door or ring on the doorbell, was very disappointing. So, 10/10 for Herb Fed Poultry but only 3/10 for the delivery company, I'm afraid.”

“Our herb fed turkey was delicious. It needed a little longer than in your instructions, but was moist and tasty. Taking your advice to start the cooking upside down gave excellent results. We roasted the giblets (minus the liver) with lots of vegetables, then added water and seasoning and simmered for about an hour before straining it to extract as much flavour as possible. With a little wine added, the resulting gravy was excellent. Our only complaint was that you had cut off most of the skin at the neck end so it was impossible to enclose the stuffing properly in the bird. This was a shame as a lot of the stuffing leaked out during cooking. This is the reason we didn’t give the bird a top rating.”
