“This is the third rooster we've bought and they are always excellent. A perfect alternative to Turkey for just the two of us and it means we've not eating it forever! The birds are meaty and taste fantastic, would highly recommend”

“Wonderful folk to deal with. We've had Thanksgiving and Christmas turkeys from Herb Fed this past year and the quality of the birds is excellent. Love the packaging, the addition of herbs for cooking, and the friendly information leaflet. We'll be back!”

“We were very happy with our turkey crown, the flavour was great. Cooking was very straight forward as per instructions given. The only negative was the delivery by dpd. They didn’t knock on the door or ring the bell when they delivered the turkey. They just left on the door step and left. It must have been at least a couple of hours before we realised it had been delivered and just dumped on the door step Richard North Yorkshire 1st Jan 2022”

“The collection procedure was better organized this year providing you realised that Christian names not surnames were key. The turkey was well presented. The meat was tender, succulent and very tasty. All our guests were delighted with the quality of the bird.”

“If you want to enjoy the real taste of Christmas - then A Herb Fed turkey ticks all the boxes. I enjoyed my first Christmas turkey back in 2015 & have seen how the company has flourished, outgrown their original farm & expanded, but they have never compromised on the welfare of their birds. The turkey I purchased this year was as good as that first turkey I enjoyed & the simple reason I return year after year. Christmas wouldn’t be Christmas without a Herb Fed turkey.”

“Rooster was very tasty and arrived well packed. Only gave three stars as left a bit of a bad taste due to the “4-5kg” Rooster being 4.05kg - would have been well under 4kg without the giblets!”

Hi Mr Willis, Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry you received a bird at the lower end of the weight bracket. We do our best to achieve minimum weights stated and also give as much extra as we can when bird weights allow but sadly weren't able to on this occasion.
