“This Capon was stunning, moist meat, extremely tasty providing a quite delicious Christmas Day meal. Thank you for providing such a fabulous bird, & despite having to be delivered from Yorkshire to Dartmoor, Devon, you kept your delivery promise, on time & a chilled bird. We loved it - brilliant!”

“We have ordered our Christmas poultry online for the last three years and have always been disappointed, either with tasteless birds or nothing but oil draining out and no juice for making the gravy. In November 2019 I decided to give Herb Fed a shot and read the reviews about Herb Fed. The reviews looked very promising so I ordered two large herb fed chickens around 3 kilos each, and at a reasonable price. The poultry arrived bang on time as promised on 23/12 and we froze one and cooked the other the following day on Christmas eve. Gas mark 4 for just over 3 hours, with loads of sage and onion home made stuffing. Six of us eagerly awaited the opening of that oven door that evening, and the aromas coming out were unbelievable. Cooked to a t, and made the most delicious sandwiches we had tasted for many years, and the juice drained and formed that lovely jelly we wanted for the gravy on our Christmas lunch Thanks Herb Fed, we will certainly be back next year.”

“The meat was soft and succulent for Christmas dinner and we also had it several times during Crimbo Limbo I think I bought a far too big bird. Am definitely ordering a smaller bird next year. Thank you for a very perfect Christmas dinner. No hassle of turkey cooking.”

“It was an excellent choice to purchase a herb fed capon for our Christmas dinner. Beautiful bird, incredibly tender and moist and tasted delicious. “Lovely web page, informative & well laid out. Selection of produce very good, good & efficient service & the chicken box is a great idea. We had a herb fed Rooster at Christmas & it was delicious, so we thought we would give the chicken box a try. The taste of the chicken is next to non, just like chicken should taste! I'm sure we will be placing other orders in the future. Well done.”
