“Once again the perfect turkey. This is the third turkey we have bought from the Herb Fed company and as previous years the turkey was exceptional. My sister comes every year and is not a big fan of turkey but all she kept telling me on Christmas Day was how gorgeous it tasted and how moist it was. She also went home on Boxing Day with a parcel of sliced cold turkey to enjoy wiht home cooked chips.😁 I must confess i do not cook the turkey breast side down first, and have always followed a Gary Rhodes recipe which hasn't failed me yet. Below is a picture of the beast before it entered the oven. Thank you again for supplying the perfect bird, we will be ordering again next year.”

“We moved to the area two years ago so this has been our third Christmas. We used to buy our turkey from Scottish producers but, when we saw Her Fed Poultry, we decided to give it a try as it was local so much more eco friendly. We certainly haven't been disappointed. They produce birds full of flavour and are easy to cook with the added bonus that we can pick it up at a time of our choice and it's considerable cheaper than the Scottish producers, even before you add the shipping charge. Very happy customer and very happy to recommend.”

“Our first Christmas rooster from Herb Fed (previously have had delicious turkeys) as we were a smaller group. Absolutely delicious! Enjoyed by everyone and the leftovers made a delicious chicken and leek pie and chicken and mushroom crumble.”

“Great Rooster for Christmas. Beautiful flavor. Maybe not conventionally cooked. It was brined for 15 hours, then just slow cooked and smoked on the charcoal green egg barbecue for several hours at 140. There was so much else to do, the rooster was left to its own devices, but the end result was brilliant! Thank goodness Avian Flu stayed away this year! Keep up the good work. We’ll be ordering again!”

“Brilliant website, easy to order, great service and information. The Christmas rooster was delicious- we had the largest bird for a party of 8 and it fed us for 2 days. So …so much better than Turkey. Delicious . It came with herbs and advice on cooking, We made the herb fed stuffing which was very tasty. We will be back for more next year at Christmas and throughout the year. Thank you. Living nearby we collected our order.”
