“Delivered exactly when it was supposed to and the quality of the bird was exceptional. Even though my timings went a bit awry and I cooked it for longer than I should have, it was still delicious and moist. The only negative is that because it was so good, my family couldn't stop eating it and we didn't have as many leftovers!”

“A well-hung superbly prepared free range bronze turkey. I left it in the fridge until the afternoon of Christmas Eve, when I butchered it into a crown, two legs and the back. The crown was buttered over and under the skin, seasoned and sat on a trivet of root veg and onions, plus the accompanying sachet of fresh herbs, and was roasted for one hour under foil, plus an additional thirty minutes without the foil. I was then rested for thirty minutes. The legs were confited in mixed duck fat and olive oil, with herbs, in the slow cooker for four hours. The back was poached with the giblets in turkey stock and wine to produce a rich gravy. The result was a succulent, rich and deeply layered flavoursome centre-piece thatcould only be achieved through using a prime bird.”

“Our turkey was absolutely delicious. Years ago, we used to rear a few turkeys ourselves and I know how much hard work goes into rearing them properly. The meat was succulent, tender and full of flavour. The bird was beautifully presented and arrived on time with great protective packaging. Many many thanks.”

“We ordered a rooster for ourselves and a turkey for my son and his family. Both were abolutely fabulous - but then we have come to expect nothing less from Herb Fed! Delivery was on time and products were very well packed. Both rooster and turkey were tender, succulent and very, very tasty - right down to the last meal several days after Christmas! Thank you Herb Fed!”

“Purchased the 4-5kg Brinze turkey for Christmas. Delivered early on 23rd and packaged well with ice packs still frozen. Quality bird, easy to cook in 2hrs. Best tasting turkey and moist from breast leg and wings. Would definitely purchase again. Great value”
